Flex zone!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you’re considering the “pro-x” g-forms from the elite, I would definitely spend the extra few bucks on the elite model! They offer more padding and cover a lot more knee surface area then the pro x would. Light weight, breathable, form fitting and highly protective from rough slams really make this pad stand out from the rest. I even leave them on while climbing because of the mobility they offer, I can’t even tell they are on.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

When the trail gets into the gnar and your just a little worried about keeping those knees in model-quality, it's time to slide these badboys on. They'll keep your prayer bones intact.

Sounds good right? I'll keep going.. they're flexible, and non restrictive. You can wear them on the climbs and not want to throw them in a fire. The impact reactive padding feels great, looks, great...even smells decent.

Protects like armor, feels like nothing

The G-Shock Elite pads are the most comfortable pads I have ever worn. Compared to plastic and rigid pads, these feel like nothing.
The main build of the G-Shock Elite pads is a stretch material that is very well ventilated. The top and bottom of the sleeve has a rubber or silicone ring that prevents the pads from slipping. Due to the non-adjustable design, I highly recommend carefully measuring your leg and using the size chart or trying on in person.
The actual protection is very unique. It reminds me of a turtle shell but is made from a deceivingly soft rubber. Upon impact this material feels like concrete.
I went with the G-Shock Elite over the other models due to the shin protection. These provide about the same about of protection as my POC long knee guards
Overall definitely recommend the G-Shock Elites. Great climbing performance with more than adequate protection on the downhill

Well protected

My son outgrew his last G-Form pads and requested that we get a new pair. He loves this brand to race all of his enduro events in. They are super comfortable and durable.

Super comfy and great customer service

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: L

Originally bought an XL and customer service at G-Form managed to get me an L after they were sliding down. I'd say if you are not sure on the size err towards a small. Top notch customer support!!!
The pads themselves are very light and seemless. I've had a couple of light falls on them and they held up great. Actually impressed with how much shock protection they had for how small they are.
They don't absorb sweat so they dry out fast after a ride and they wash super easy unlike my iXS flow which are like sponges and the padding deteriorates and crumbles apart in the wash.
Love the pads and would buy them again. Same for the elbow pads.

Great pads!

G Form is the only bike protection I can stand to wear without feeling like it’s getting in my way. These knee pads have solid protection but are super comfortable and lightweight

Great protection

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

I bought these after a series of crashes upon my restart in mountain biking. Fortunately I haven’t had to try them out yet. They are comfortable to wear, and I like the extended coverage down into the shin area. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I don’t consider them to fit like an XL. They don’t fit my thick legs. I struggle to get them up to where I feel the should be, and as soon as I start riding the slip down. This is only a minor annoyance right now, as I’m sure they will still give adequate protection if I fall.

Bumper guards!

I'm a 66 yr. old grandma still mountain biking, I crash every other switchback but thanks to my GForms ( full body! ) I live to crash another day!!

Secure protection

Picked up the elite pads for the additional protection they provide compared to the originals. Elites have the same secure fit and I've taken some burly tumbles on double black runs and my knees and elbows have been scratch and fracture free.

Comfortable and Breathable

I love these G-Form pads. They are lightweight, super comfortable, and they wick moisture pretty well. The padding is like a soft rubber material so they flex with you on every movement. Upon impact, the material hardens up to protect you. I haven't seen a more comfortable knee pad. The Elite will provide more protection than the Pro-X Knee Pad.

So comfortable!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I must say these are definitely the most comfiest padding that I have used. If you are debating if you should go with the pro-x or the elite I would highly recommend the Elite! They have more padding around the knee then the pro-x and work absolutely amazing on impact. If you want comfortable padding that are lightweight and can still protect you then these are definitely worth the money!
