Take care of those calluses.
An often looked-over practice is filing calluses to prevent pulling off flappers while pulling hard moves. With Friction Labs' Climbskin File, you'll have the perfect tool to keep you calluses from getting crazy out of control. Once you start to shed just enough skin on your calluses that you can feel it snag on your clothes, take the Climbskin File to them and rub them down until they're once again soft. This helps build up skin so you can climb longer on your hard-earned calluses without losing them.
- An ergonomic file for taking care of callused skin
- Two file options for different angles of filing
- Comes with replaceable sandpaper pieces for optimal performance
- Q & A
You need this on your rack.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
There's nothing worse than having to super glue your fingers shut so you can keep climbing, and if you've ever climbign granite this is the reality. Having a finger file is a must to shave down all the rips on your fingers so they don't get caught on rock and turn into flappers. Of all skin files I've had this one is amazing. It's small, light, and comes with replacement pads. ALSO it's made of wood! so if you ever lost it out at the crag is bio degradable.
A misc must
The reason I bought this was that I started having a reoccurring problem of getting a flapper, healing, then getting it again. I finally forked out a slim $13 and so far the flapper to climb ratio is for the most part zero. Plus it makes my hands smoother making the sandpaper handshakes nonexistent!
