From summer shirt to cold weather keeper.

The winter season doesn’t mean you have to swap out your entire closet from strappy shirts to drab wool sweaters. Sure, it’s cold out, but this is your chance to get more creative with layering for one-of-a-kind outfits. The Free People Women’s Weekends Snuggle Layering Top boasts a mock-neck collar and long sleeves to turn a summery shirt into a cold-weather keeper. Throw a tank-top on underneath to flaunt the sheer fabric on its own. And, of course, the shirt wouldn’t be complete without Free People’s boho touch, showing up this time as an unfinished hem line.

Great basic for layering

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

This is one of my favorite tops for layering. It's snug enough to wear under a cardigan, overalls, or even tuck into jeans. It is a little bit sheer, but nothing you can't cover up with a cardi, wear a cami underneath, or with a nude bra. Good staple for your closet!
