Comfy Bralette

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: XS/S

Seamless, comfy fit with great straps. It's made out of a super soft material, and the colors are great. It runs large!

Back is cool

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

I love these Free People bras but this particular one seems to have less support then the other versions that have higher fronts. Still cute and comfy.

Cute and comfy but no support

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large

I like this bra for it's design and comfort. It isn't lined and isn't very supportive but is great for yoga, under a cute tank or even for bed.

Sheer comfort is right!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: XS/S

This should be considered a bralette, it's not very supportive, but it's pretty and it's perfect for under low cut shirts, strappy dresses, or tanks. I think this would be great for smaller chested people to do low impact things like yoga or bike ride in. I bought three of these to go under summer dresses or to wear on the weekends when it's hot out. I have this in white and black and I love them! I bought my daughter one in white and she seems to love it too. Do not buy this bra to use as a sports-bra, it will disappoint you.

Cute design for coverage only

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: SX/S

I like wearing this bra with tank tops and while hiking. If feels like your not wearing anything, because there isn't any padding or underwire.
Sx/S for 34c covers but provides no support.

Best summer bra for small boobs

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XS/S

This bra is the most comfortable thing to wear in the summer. I barely feel like I have anything on, and I like that I can wear any kind of tank top and not have to worry about covering up my bra straps - these are meant to show. I normally wear a 36 A and the XS/S fit perfectly. There's not much fabric to it so I don't see how bigger boobs could fit into it. There's also no modesty to it so I don't generally wear it in public where I might be embarrassed about my nipples showing. But for around the house it is perfect!

Cute but not supportive

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: XS/S

I got this to wear under tank tops as a cute bra, and it totally works for me since I have a smaller bust but can see it being an issue! These definitely run large - I have the smaller size and it could be a bit tighter. Overall cute but not super practical other than causal summer wear!

Casual

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

This "bra" is great, so long as you know what you're getting. As just about everyone else has said, there's no support. I have a larger bust, but got this to wear under low-cut tanks and dresses, and for that it works great! But definitely no chance of anything more than that. It does run a little larger too, I had to return it for the smaller size and even then, I wish it were a bit tighter. The back is super cute though!

Cool design sizing a little too big.

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: S/xs

I bought my girlfriend two of these as a gift and she loves the look of them they are just super loose on her we got her the s/xs size and it was way too big where she wears xs in most every other brand.

Pretty, not practical

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

Definitely runs large! Additionally, since it is mostly straps in the back, they stretch out during wear and cause the bra to become even looser. Great for casual wear beneath tanks, really pretty, etc. but beware of slip outs - it happens...

pretty cool!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I got this just the other day so I haven't had a lot of time with it. but I do wish I sized down. not very supportive at all. but it's not really made for that. so I'm down with it. :)

I want to order this in every color

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I don't like wearing bras with underwire or padding, and this bra has neither of those. It's perfect! I love the cute straps and it's really soft. I typically wear a size 34/B and I got the X-Small/Small and it fits perfect. You can be sure that I'll be ordering more of these.

Straps straps straps

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

This bralette is so cute! I wouldn't recommend them for ladies who have a larger chest. There is very little support in this top. I also wouldn't recommend working out in this. But it looks great with an open back tank top and is very comfortable to relax in. The reason I docked two stars is for the lack of support. I need to adjust it multiple times a day because it doesn't stay put. Runs large.

Very Strappy! Very fun!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

If you like strappy, fun, cute bras, this one's a wonderful option. Not very supportive, but suuuuper comfy. It's pretty absorbent, and quite stretchy, so if you're planning to workout in it, size down.

Free People Seamless Strappy Back Bra

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I didn't know the Free People brand much - this was my first purchase - and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the product. It was a gift for a good friend, and she told me that the quality was good, the fit was great and that she really liked the graphite color that I chose. Good job!

Nice to wear around the house

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I actually love the comfort of this bra. It is super thin, but that's what makes it comfortable. I have a larger chest and I feel like I have full coverage in an L. It is a stretchy material and just as an fyi, it's not a supportive bra. It's more so for comfort.

Don't know who's boobs this bra good 4

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: XS/S

I read all the reviews on Backcountry and was lead to believe this bra is basically a thin layer with little support good for little boobs. I don't even wear bras with cups at all, because I don't think I am an A. I thought it would be perfect and cute. My mistake is that I did not read the reviews on FreePeople's website, which were honest and very helpful. The bra rides right up over my tiny titties even when I am not being active. I walked home one night from a friends house wearing the bra underneath a sweater and a winter jacket. By the time I got home it was all the way on top of my boobs. Also seems it would not be good for larger chests either, because it is so tiny. I was excited about this bra, but after wearing it a few times I am trying to figure out if it is returnable and if so...to Backcountry or to FreePeople?

The bra also runs pretty big. I have a small chest but kindof a large ribcage. I get pull-over the head bras that are size 36. Sometimes I can do a 34" I got an XS/S because a couple reviews said it is roomy. It fits and is not even tight on me.

Thin and light - cute but not practical

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Sx/S

It's a cute design, light weight and sexy.
I'm 34 C and size sx/s fits but it's not supportive or constricting but it's not lose, it just covers and hardly feels there at all.
The material is light, no padding and if your always cold, everybody can tell.
I would wear this to lounge around in at home.

Style and comfort points

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: XS/S

Seeing as my chest is closer to resembling pecs than breasts I really enjoy this, let's call it a, top, not a bra. Super comfy. Cute under sheer tops, or as a top. No support. The xs/s could be a bit more fitted around for me but there's plenty of coverage up front for my ittie-bitties that even if it does move around I'm covered. I don't have much of an issue with it moving around like some of the other reviewers however I have not worn it to work out in or do yoga but at work (waiting tables and bartending) it's been good to me.

cute but only worthwhile for style

I'm super small breasted and while the xtra small fit perfectly, it didn't even offer _me_ support! Strangely I felt more exposed wearing it than if I wore no bra at all. Maybe cute for wearing under a backless top, but not if you need support, or plan to move at all......
