Goes with your flow.
Find your flow with the Fox Racing Men's Indicator Pro Short fluidly conforming to every movement as you slalom down twisting turns and pick your line across rock gardens. This fluid flexing trail short offers a bit more streamlined fit than you've come to expect from a pair of baggies—all without inhibiting your pedaling movements or descending capabilities.
TruMotion 4-way stretch offers superb flexibility and buttery-smooth comfort while pulling moisture off your body to facilitate rapid cooling on hot summer rides. Laser-cut ventilation holes enhance its cooling efficiency by exchanging airflow in stifling conditions. Another trail-worthy upgrade is the ratcheting closure along the waistline, which prevents the shorts from migrating as you pedal feverishly for hours at a time.

- Q & A
Great biking shorts
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Really love the material and cut of these shorts. Not too baggy, but enough room to be comfortable. Material is lightweight and breathable. Pockets are great for storing keys, phone, etc. if you need them. Buckle works but seems unnecessary.
Straight Forward Trail Shorts
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 32
Big fan of the material-- stretchy, stays dry, and has proven to be durable despite having a very lightweight feel. The shorter length is ideal if you're not wearing pads. Not sure if the buckle is necessary? The fit works well for me. Just enough room to move, without flapping. They haven't knocked the Livewire Pro shorts off the top of my list, but they're quite nice none the less.
Fox sizing issues
- Size Bought: 30-32
I really wanted to like this short. It's light and breathable and looks great. However Fox seems to cut it's shorts for the average joe, not for avid cyclists. I have a 31" waist so I ordered both the 30 and 32 to try. The 30 fit my waist but the legs and butt area were too tight. The 32 fit those areas well, but the waist was too big with the adjuster at full close. Like many riders I have a mostly flat belly and larger quads. I can never get a good fit with Fox shorts. Bummer!
