Blow up the mud.
Riding in the rain is going to be soggy no matter what you do, but it's so damn fun that it's totally worth getting cold, wet, and covered in mud. Fox Racing designed the Demo DH WR Men's Pants to ward off the weather's worst and offer plenty of mobility and protection while you're getting rowdy on big DH courses and secret backwoods trails.
The DH WR is the same as the standard Demo DH, with one exception: the burly 600D polyester fabric is coated with polyurethane, which repels water and sheds mud to keep you (relatively) dry and clean. A mesh lining helps wick moisture away from your skin, and stretchy Q4 panels at the knees and crotch keep you pedaling hard without feeling restricted. Additional stretch panels at the back and hips encourage freedom of movement, and the elastic cuffs and ratcheting waist help you dial up a secure and mud-proof fit. There's a small water-resistant zip pocket on the left thigh, too, so you can keep your graham crackers dry in case you need a pick-me-up before you crush your next lap.
- Q & A
Easy lightweight none binding for an enjoyable bike ride.
This pants are amazing!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I originally purchased these pants to use up in Whistler in the rain and now use them at any bike park especially Canyons and Deer Valley. These pants hold up to the rain, dirt, mud, etc. They do get wet eventually and my shorts underneath do get wet from sitting on the chair lift but that is usually after a few hours and they last longer than any other DH pants I've used. The pocket was very conveniently located and could fit my phone, pass, credit card or cash and keys. Most DH pants tend to have smaller pockets or none at all so the large pocket was really nice.
These pants are great when it's cooler out and you want to stay warm while you're lapping the bike park during the spring or fall. They also don't get too hot during the middle of the day when the sun comes out.
The fit is true to size, the waist line runs true.
