Ready to fly.
Whether you're rocketing through a cross-country course or looking to add some comfort to your favorite pair of unlined baggies, do it in comfort and style with the Fox Racing Ascent Men's Bib Shorts. Made from soft yet supportive fabrics, these shorts provide just the right amount of stretch while moving moisture out and away to keep you cool and dry.
Silicone grippers at the leg bands softly hold everything in place, and reflective detailing on the legs increases visibility to motorists, woodland creatures, and fellow riders in low-light conditions. The standard Ascent Bib Shorts include the same Evo Chamois as the Comp model. Its multi-density cushioning adds comfort without any unnecessary bulk.

- Q & A
Theres a reason its on sale
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Large
It is extremely cheaply made. Sized to fit children, and the pad is poorly placed. If you really feel the need to buy these size them up 2X - example, I fit M to L, but even the LARGE fits really tight, especially in the thighs. Probably good enough for the indoor trainer for less than an hour. I wasted my $36 :(
Product doesn't have pockets described.
- Fit: True to size
Chamois so thin as to be almost useless.
Pretty good over all
- Familiarity: I've used it several times

I used these for mixed use on both road and trail riding. The fit is really good for someone that has big thighs. They feel nice and comfortable and the pad isn't very bulky. These are not made with a lot of compression so don't look for that with these. They are a great summer weight short, but the only issue I have is that the pad for me is lacking for longer rides of say over 2 hours. That is when I got a little uncomfortable. Overall these are good shorts for my quick rides .
I generally wear bibs under my mtb short. And I generally wear bibs left over from my racing days and they often have obnoxious colors that poke out every once in a while. Several bibs were getting dated and literally falling apart from use so I picked these up. Price was right. Color was right. Fit on the large is about right (maybe a little big). I think a medium would be a bit snug but bib sizing must be all over the place because glancing through my bag at my other bibs, I have medium, lg and even xl depending on brand/model/era??? Anyway--solid bib at a decent price. Chamois is just the way I like it (not some monster cushion in the nether region--just a little cushion and even surface for sliding around on the seat and off the back when mtn biking).
