Genius-level protection.

Equipped with the advanced breathability of Polartec NeoShell, the FlyLow Men's Lab Coat Jacket seals out heavy precipitation while expelling built-up moisture vapor and heat during aerobic alpine use, such as big-mountain skiing and backcountry touring. As the most advanced jacket in FlyLow's line, the Lab Coat combines the best technologies into a single jacket for near-indestructible quality and optimum comfort in extreme environments. The waterproof NeoShell is fortified by fully sealed seams and YKK waterproof zips, preventing the intrusion of moisture in deep powder and soaking springtime slush. A high-performance DWR treatment adds enhanced protection from oncoming snow, sleet, and rain.

Elongated underarm vents work in conjunction with the Lab Coat's excellent breathability, keeping you dry from the inside-out, especially when you're skinning uphill for hours or hiking demanding lines outside the resort's boundaries. The adjustable hood easily deploys over your favorite helmet, sealing out raging snowstorms and summit winds. Articulated shoulders and sleeves promote unrestricted motion, allowing you to perform your very best on the mountain. Other alpine-smart features include a removable powder skirt, no bulk cuffs, and six total pockets for convenient on-mountain storage.

Lab Coat

Never stayed so dry in a rainstorm

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

You know those multi climate days where it's snowing up top and raining at the bottom? I grew up in Tahoe, so I'm used to it. Used to the sog that turns into ice by the time you get off the chairlift.
I have been pleased to find that this jacket keeps me dry on those soggy days, as well as all my pockets. No more dead, wet cellphone or soggy cash and papers.
Plus, great ventilation with easy zippers — no more turning to your chair buddy and having him smell your pits to close you up!
This has been a great resort AND touring jacket. Nice and light, but with all the convenient pockets and bomb proof feel you want while spinning laps.

Designed in a Lab

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: large

There was some serious rocket science put into this jacket. It is obvious that every zipper and pocket on this was placed precisely where it needs to be. While getting in and out of pockets you will feel as though it runs like a perfectly maintained machine, like you always wished your sled would run. On top of this it is 100% water proof and cut to promote freedom of movement even with thick layering. I am not nice to gear and this thing held up perfectly.

Even better then before

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: lg

The Lab Coat is the best all around jacket I have worn. It is bombproof tough, decently packable and super breathable for a 100% waterproof layer. I am a tweener large/medium so I sized up to a large and it is perfect for winter layering.

The new Jam/Black color pops really nice but is subtle enough to be classy.

I work at flylow, so i used it for a good amount of time last winter.

Any job openings?

Flylow kills it again

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

Haven't used it yet but intend to shred the gnar all winter in this coat. Small fits great on my frame with plenty of room for warm clothes underneath. Lots of awesomely thought out pockets. Big bonus with the hood and collar separate.
