Love these for lightweight hiking

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 36

I have these pants in addition to the Pro Pants Fjallraven makes and I tend to wear the Nikka pants more. They're lightweight and have stretch inserts for more movement than the Pro's. The material is rugged and the fit is comfortable. They're a bit long on me, but you can take these to a tailor, and if there's a Fjallraven store near you, they'll hem for free. I typically wear a 4-6 / 26-27 in pants and the 36 fits me perfect (besides length). Highly recommend!

Great Pant, just too big

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 34

I ordered this pant in the Dark Garnet & the color was amazing! These are also definitely long enough for tall girls. My only issue was they were just too big for me. I though the weight was nice & a much more reasonable daily hike pant than the Fjallraven Vidda Pro Pant.

If there was a smaller size I would definitely buy it!

I was looking for a "go to" hiking pant for the Pacific Northwest. These did not fit the bill; while they are extremely well made and had an accurate fit, the material was very inflexible and rubbed the skin on my knees raw. If you are looking for a pant that you will wear a base layer under, these will definitely work. Unfortunately I was looking for an all weather, flexible fit hiking pant. These strike me almost as a "snow pant". My inseam is 32" and these were very long and would have to be hemmed for anyone with an inseam similar to mine. For the price I could not justify keeping them as I would not have many occasions to use them. Quality pants, just not for the hiking I do. I probably should have looked at the material they were made of before I ordered them. These will be great for someones needs, just not mine.
