Go toe-to-toe with rugged terrain.

Your leopard-print tights might be awesome, but they don't really have the chops for technical trekking and mountaineering. Fjallraven's Keb Men's Trouser, on the other hand, is made of stretchy synthetic fabric and reinforced with G-1000 Eco panels for serious freedom of movement and durability. The knees are articulated and have extra-song seams so you don't blow them out, and zippered vents and an extended fly help keep you cool if the going gets hot. Fjallraven also included adjustable cuffs with boot hooks to keep grass, dirt, and snow from sneaking down into your socks, and threw in front cargo pockets and hand pockets to keeps maps, snacks, and gear handy so you don't have to stop and unload when you have serious ground to cover.

Best pants in the world

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: EU 46

These are the best pants I've ever owned, hands down! They're the only pants I wear or even own now, except for a technical shell. They work well for everything, from outdoor chores like running a chainsaw to long backpacking trips. As an everyday pant, they're comfortable and have great pockets. If you have a suit and tie job, then you could probably even get away with wearing them to the office since they look so rad. I work outside often in the summer, and the pockets allow me to carry my notebook for recording data as well as other small items that I access regularly.

The leg panels are made from a durable mid-weight poly-cotton canvas that stands up to bushwhacking while the stretch panels are placed in areas that greatly improve overall mobility. The poly-cotton accepts the wax that Fjallraven sells, which is not a gimmick. In wet conditions or winter, waxing the canvas panels before a trip improves the performance of the pant greatly by making them water resistant. Even unwaxed, however, these pants will dry out very quickly after being completely submerged. The gaiters work well to keep the pants down around my mountaineering boots and also reduce the amount of water that gets into my boots for quick creek crossings. Overall, these pants can tackle pretty much anything you can throw at them.

Excellent Pair of Pants!

Never eva eva EVA!!! Did I think I’d pay this much for a pair of pants. Normally I wouldn’t but when it comes to gear, and yes these pants I consider gear, I don’t like to skimp on. These are well worth it and hold up well. Other Fjallraven pants may be more durable and rugged. But these are like the Ferrari of Fjallraven. Lightweight and still durable and breath well. Rugged legs and butt with good stretch in areas not susceptible to abrasions. Like any piece of gear. You choose each piece by the type of adventure you’re about to embark on. Fjallraven has many options and a great brand to use.

    Beautifully Made!

My Father and My Man own this pant. They are true Mountain Men and I can't say how amazed I am at how well this pant has held up for the both of them. They look just as great as they did when they first put them on. From Work, to Hiking, Chopping Wood, Riding Motorcycles and running around town this is by far the best everyday pant for their lifestyle.

I bought these for my husband and he practically sleeps in them, he loves them so much. Perfect for hiking, climbing, on snow activities. Hiking: love the vented sides for when it gets hot. Climbing: love the stretch fabric in all the right places. Snowshoeing: love that these can be waxed to protect from wind/cold/moisture. He is a 31-32" waist and the size 48 in these was perfect! So worth the price for the quality and versatility of these!

I was skeptical of these due to the price, however once trying them on I was instantly impressed with what felt like a 3D fit. Stretch where you need it and reinforced with durable fabric where needed. Add the flexibility of being able to wax these to the weather you want and these are on the top of my favorite list. fit is comfortable and true. I'm 5'11" and between 185 - and 190lbs.
