Looks nice, but won’t last long

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Used it about three times before my last gran fondo of 130 miles, the tape was stripped and worn on both sides after the ride. It wears out by hand positioning, sweat and simple use. It won’t last a month of continuous riding, will fade, and peel off. I would recommend it for store display bikes, just for looks, not for use.

Not Sure Why They still sell this junk

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I should have paid closer attention to the reviews before ordering. Less than 2 months and already delaminating and wearing and I'm not hard on tape, it usually lasts me a couple years. I would not buy this one if it were free. Waste of time and money.

Part of it began to peel immediately

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

So disappointed. Paid to have it applied and part of it began peeling immediately. Will need to replace it when I have time. This should be refunded along with the cost of using it.

Feels nice but terrible durability

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I wrapped by bars at the start of the outdoor season and hadn't yet put 1000 miles on my road bike before the right side was worn through and the left is starting to go. Tape did feel nice while it lasted. But I wouldn't recommend unless you enjoy spending money and wrapping your bars every 1000 miles.

Good grip until you sweat

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

A bit more fussy than others to install, just pull tight and doublecheck your work (I didn't and looks like feces on a few bends). Color is pretty good but I prefer the neon on my old Deda grip, padding is that Goldilocks "not too thick not too thin", and the grip is nice and tacky (think old school receiver gloves with a light coat of some stick 'em sprayed on) when dry or mildly sweaty. However, once you get decently sweaty (I did ~2k vert/3 mile hill today) the grip is essentially gone to where I lost confidence and descended about 10mph slower than usual on this route.

Looks cheap.

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The Vento Solocush Tacky bar tape looks thin and cheap. The "pattern" which appears to be pressed into the surface is actually printed on the surface of the tape. The color of the tape (grey in this case) is not thru body so the body color (white) shows on the edge not covered by the lap. The surface does feel sufficiently grippy but over all the product is a disappointment.
