Think about shoes for a minute. As a little kid, if we were lucky, we got to pick out our own shoes which helped represent our individuality. As adults, we still tend to do this even with our cycling shoes, although fit and comfort are important factors as well. If your reading this, we're guessing these shoe's good looks captured your attention and now that you're here we feel it's our duty to let you know that the Men's R1 Infinito Cycling Shoe from Fi'zi:k delivers unrelenting power transfer and a fit the pros can trust, creating the ideal platform for competitive racers and the most discerning of cyclists. As Fi'zi:k's top-tier road shoe, the R1 Infinito is extremely lightweight barely troubling the scales at 232 grams, conforms to your foot brilliantly with its Increased Volume Control, and delivers all the watts to your pedals with a unidirectional carbon sole. The icing on the cake? Well, that’s the limited edition black and red colorway.
Fi'zi:k uses dual Boa IP1-B dials to conform the Microtex upper to the shape of your foot without hot spots troubling you throughout your training and racing efforts. It calls it Increased Volume Control, which makes sense seeing the shoe's upper wraps your foot like a glove, regardless if you have slightly wide or narrow feet. The entire system tightens with steel-coated nylon laces running through textile guides that evenly distribute pressure as you tighten each Boa dial.
Looking to the R1 Infinito's sole, you'll reap the benefits of unidirectional carbon that's incredibly stiff, lightweight underfoot, and ventilated to regulate temperatures on those stifling summer days. This rigid carbon sole ensures every watt of energy is directed into forward momentum which is especially important when launching race-winning moves.

Amazing shoes, 1st ride in them was 52 miles, my feet felt great! I love the boa system!! The quality from Fizik is beyond expectations and CC was on point again!!
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: True to size
very comfortable everywhere except right where the tongue meets your ankle at the top. They used a super stiff plastic there (the red part that says infinitio) that basically digs into the front part of your ankle the more you bend your foot. That's why I gave it 4 stars. I actually returned my pair because it was too uncomfortable. I went with the LG course air lite II.
Looks wise, to me it looks better from the sides than from the top, but that's personal.
Super Quality, Light and Fast!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: 43
As soon as I opened the box and held them in my hand I knew I was in for a treat. The quality of the upper could be felt and they are lightweight! I installed the cleats (which was painless) and set off on my ride. It was hot in SLC, but the shoe soles were well ventilated and cooled my feet nicely. I put in a test sprint and the sole was stiff. Very stiff, but not too stiff. The toe box is a little narrow, but I like they way it hugs my foot. I would suggest buying a half size down.
High quality, high performance cycling shoes.
