We count on the Prodigy 4.0 as our accomplice for ticking off steep lines from our hit list on a powdery morning, then finishing the day by linking our favorite side hits in the leftover softness. This directional twin is comprised with equal parts influence from big-mountain freeride and freestyle disciplines alike—the 4.0 boasts tip and tail rocker with twin tips for freestyle applications, while added stiffness in the tail supplies landing gear for gnarly freeride lines. The 116mm waist supplies excellent float on deep storm days yet remains plenty nimble for powder jibs, booter sessions, and laps through the resort even when the powder is no longer plentiful.

Best skis I've skied
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These are the best skis I've ever skied. They are bouncy and playful, but also super solid and predictable when blasting. They are capable, durable, and so dang fun! I used these skis for 100 days this winter at Alta and Snowbird, and they are still if good condition! Not only are these the funnest skis, but they're also the toughest skis. They rip powder, but they also rip hard pack and crud. You can beat them up and they will still perform great. Highly recommended.
