Agent 2.0x Ski

The Agent Series consists of Faction's backcountry-specific skis, and the Agent 2.0x Ski is one of the more versatile options for single-quiver tourers. It has the same shape and construction as the original Agent 2.0' the only difference is the pinker color. The 96mm waist certainly rides best in springtime conditions and firmer snow, but it holds its own during dreamy pow days and wintertime softness. Thanks to a full carbon weave, the Agent feels light on the uphill and stiff on the downhill. Faction shaped the ski with a rockered tip that rises early to stay afloat in deeper snow, and there's enough camber to assist edging down firmer snow. The tail is a bit flatter for a freeride-oriented performance, and the elliptical sidecut initiates tighter or wider turns when needed. Faction built the ski out of karuba wood for lightness and stiffened it up the full carbon weave and a titanal plate underfoot for binding retention. There are sidewalls underfoot for added durability, and the capped tip and tail decrease weight and increase torsional responsiveness. The top sheet has a glossy finish for snow- and abrasion-resistance.
