This is not a Link Plus!

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

This is not a “Link Plus.” This is the smaller, lower powered “Link,” and has half the run time that the link plus has. At first, I thought competitive cyclist might have made an honest mistake, so I bought what was advertised as a Link Plus, from Backcountry.com and they also sent me the smaller/cheaper Link model. Then I found out that both companies are now owned by the same conglomerate. I am still trying to return the first light, but I’m having a hard time getting a free return shipping label. They originally wanted me to pay $7. Buyer beware.

Exposure is starting to make sh*t

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Size Bought: the only one

I used to be an exposure fan (had a bunch of the headlights, from the Strada to the Max) - but the last in the Link series has soured me. this last one seems to have shorter battery life and after three months of intermittent use in the summer, the charging port has failed. My previous link unit lived years - bought it for a trip around Taiwan and it kept on running for 5 more years. this one lasted from June 20 til September 26 of the same year.

So, buyer beware - and maybe I can get some warranty service that doesn't involve shipping it over the pond (another annoyance).

I am really not a hobbit (see below) since size doesn't matter in this case.
