    Megamat Duo 10 Sleeping Pad

The Exped Megamat Duo 10 Sleeping Pad is the height of camping luxury and can be used in your tent or RV, or pull it out when friends come to visit. The self-inflating open cell foam core provides a pillowy soft sleep surface, and the tricot top provides slip resistance and a comfortable place to plop your body. Welded seams and fabric lamination keep the glues from breaking down, and the 3D construction with vertical sidewalls makes sure that your pad has the durability to last a long time. Separate inflation and deflation valves offer a high flow of air in and out of the pad when you need it. The included Exped Mini Pump can be used to blow things up quickly without busting a lung.

    • Soft and supportive sleeping pad for two campers
    • 3D construction creates a level sleeping surface
    • Welded seams and fabric lamination for durability
    • Designed for weekend camping and camper vans
    • Separate inflation and deflation valves
    • Exped pump included for quick inflation

    As good as home

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Wife & I have used this for over a year now and have no complaints. Works well in warm and cold weather. Comfortable as most beds I've slept in. We use the Snozzle to inflate quickly and top off with the included hand pump. It all works well. Even the carry bag is well thought out. This kind of thing doesn't come cheap but it is well worth it. If you plan on spending a good amount of time car camping I would highly recommend this pad.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love this thing, great for car camping. So comfy

Going to get one for myself now!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this as a Gift for my brother but before I sent it out to him I tinkered with it to see how it works. It really does self inflate to a point where it does become feasible to use you lungs or the bag it comes with to finish off the final inflate process. My brother has told me it kept him very warm while doing late season Winter/Spring camping back in NH. Glamping is a word for it for sure. I am going to grab one for myself to do some Car Camping!

This will revolutionize your camping. Glamping? Yes. But after a long hard day of adventuring, biking, climbing, whatever, what is the price of the best sleep you can possibly ask for? This pad makes your unconscious time dreamy, and makes you ready for tomorrow's adventures. Say Good-Bye to sh*tty camp sleep. With our 2 person heavy duty sleeping bag, I literally sleep better on this than my own bed, and I get to wake up outside!!

Now if only I could find the perfect tent that fits this monstrosity of heavenly sleep.

    super comfortable car camping bed

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

got this 4 weeks ago and started sleeping on it in our bedroom that night to get a feel for it. More comfortable than our $1000 sealy, slept on it for about a week and then took it on a 2 separate camping trips, takes up some space in the car, but we both slept through the night, not waking up once...amazing. Rolling it up takes some time, but this is a quality bed, would never go back to an air mattress. Also insulation is very good, never cold at all. Twin fitted sheet fits perfectly. It is also completely silent when you move around on it,

The best sleeping pad out there

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you are looking for something that is going to be the closest thing possible to your bed at home. Look no further. The Megamat is legit! Foot pump means no batteries required and it stays inflated which can be a bummer of other mats. Love this thing and with a toddler rolling all over me in the middle of the night comfort is key. Way comfy nothing beats it out there. Can be a bear to get back into the stuff sack though, that's the only bummer but it's worth it for sure.

Love it!! Buy it! You won't regret your purchase.

Never thought I'd say that a sleeping pad felt close to bringing my actual bed out into nature, but here it is. Amazing for car and truck camping, and the comfortability factor can't be compared. We've never had to deal with air loss so far, and we've used this thing quite a bit.

      so comfy!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

might as well just light your regular mattress on fire. This thing is so dang comfy!

      King of comfort

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

We borrowed this pad for a camping trip to lake Michigan this summer, and loved it. Super comfy and pretty bomber for an air mattress. Only complaint is that it's bulky even when deflated.

It doesn't get any better than this!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used this for a ton of car camping and I love it, after you dial in how much air you need. It starts to become more comfortable than your own bed. I have even used it at my own house for visitors. It is easy to pump up and packing it up is also easy. I was surprised actually. This comes with great instructions on how to set up your first time and recommendations on how to use it. I also inspected mine after several uses and the build of this pad is burly and durable. I see this lasting a very long time. How do you call yourself a glamper (glamour camping) and not have this in your camping set up!

      Great gift for older travellers

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this to an older couple I know that fly a lot and stay in some pretty uncomfortable beds. They had the following to share:

Great for my back, very comfortable, travel with it often flying, doesn't lose air and is excellent quality.

      Game Changer!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this pad initially when I built out my truck bed for camping. It is perfect for truck camping because it doesn't take up too much verticle space, I can fold it up and stow it underneath my platform without taking up an absurd amount of storage space, and it is incredibly comfortable. This pad is honestly more comfortable than my mattress at home. Granted, it costs about the same, but if you're going to be spending an extensive amount of time sleeping outside then it is well worth it. 10/10 would recommend!

      Simply Amazing!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Add me to the list of people that find this pad to be more comfortable than my home mattress. Most everything has already been said about this mattress but here are my impressions:

The first thing I noticed when opening the package and unfolding the mattress is the fit and finish is extremely high quality. Seams are well constructed and inflate and deflate valves are sturdy and the outer fabric is comfortable. Before I used it outside I let it inflate in my living room. After an hour the mattress was mostly inflated and I used the provided pump to finish it off. In my tent, my wife and I sleep very well. The size is almost exactly the same as a conventional “full” mattress. One advantage this has is that the sides are stable, allowing you to sleep next to the edge without feeling like you are on the edge. My wife and I also notice there is very little partner movement felt. It is an air mattress so if one person gets up or lays down there is a slight change in firmness. So far, I have not had to worry about reinflating it like other air mattresses. As I mentioned earlier this is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. I do have a bad back and camping was something I was almost ready to give up on. With this mattress I can camp comfortably again knowing I will get a good nights sleep.

There is only one con I can think of, which is merely a trade off worth living with because the comfort of this thing... it is bulky. Someone mentioned that it is about the size of two sleeping bags when rolled up. I would say that is an accurate description of its size.

      Glamping in style

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This thing is like sleeping in clouds. Anyone that complains about sleeping on the ground will actually enjoy camping.

      glamp away!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I set this up for a test run in my backyard an was amazed how comfortable it was. I slept through the night and woke up with no back pain. If you are looking for a car camping mat that feels like a real bed this is the one for you.

      Better than my bed

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Full disclosure, my current bed is 10 years old but this mat really is comfortable and changed my car camping set up for the better! Inflating it is a breeze with the included hand pump but deflating it takes a little more effort. I highly recommend this pad for anyone looking for extra comfort!

We just stepped up our game

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My husband and I recently decided that our backpacking air mattresses are just fine for backpacking, but for car camping we wanted to step it up a notch. And we did. This Exped Megamat Duo is pretty pricey, so we tried some other options first... all of them were comfortable, but didn't come close to the comfort of the Exped Megamat. We decided if we're getting a mat specifically for car camping, we might as well go all out. So we returned the others and went with this one. I honestly think this mat is more comfortable than most beds I've slept on. The little hand pump it comes with works great, and you only have to top it off with a little air after its been sitting out self-inflating for awhile. My only concern is not being able to get out of the tent in the morning.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My girlfriend convinced me to purchase this because she does't sleep well camping. This pad does the trick. A little pricey but it is well padded and insulates well so its worth the price of admission. Elevate your car camping game.

I am so glad I did

Ok so I guess my injuries make me qualified to speak about this mattress.
2 Back surgeries 1 neck surgery 13 previously broken bones in my back. 1 broken hip (healed) and 3 ribs Healed.
Waking up is no party but I know a thing or two about resting well.
This is the mattress that allows me to travel again. I cant say thank you enough. No more stuck at home or having to pay tons for a hotel.
WoW! Is all I can say . if you are looking at this mattress then you are going to be very happy when you get it. 6 week motorcycle trip is going to be so much fun. Thanks guys
