Expedition 100 Backpack

You've got your sites set high, on snow capped peaks in interior Alaska, and there's no pack up to the task quite like the Exped Expedition 100 Backpack. With a whopping 100 liters of space, it's the biggest, baddest trekking pack that Exped has to offer, and it comes equipped with a rugged construction that's ready to take you to the top of snowy mountains or on globetrotting adventures around the world. Two pre-shaped aluminum stays offer superb load bearing properties, and they're directly connected to the hipbelt, while the base of the pack is double layered for extra durability. The waterproof nylon construction is equipped with fully sealed seams and a roll-top closure to keep your gear dry in harsh weather, and the top section uses a waterproof AquaSeal zipper to keep any and all precipitation out.

Exped knows that you'll want a comfortable system to counter that heavy load on your back. The shoulder straps are anatomically shaped for a natural feel, and they're secured to the base of the pack with webbing so you remain in complete control whether you're on steep ice or navigating a crowded train station. A couple sturdy anchors on the hipbelt can be used for pulling a sled across glaciers or frozen tundra, two ice axe loops carry tools or trekking poles, and there are plenty more ways to use the myriad of daisy chains and compression straps in order to bring every last piece of gear you need on your next expedition. Exped even includes a waterproof map pocket that you can detach from inside the pack and attach to the shoulder straps with toggles, giving you constant access even as you're pole planting through tricky terrain.
