ExOfficio thought of everything while designing the Men's Sol Cool Ultimate Hooded Shirt to keep you comfortably cool while adventuring, whether you're backpacking, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, or running in hot weather. The brainiacs at ExOfficio made this hooded shirt out of polyester and spandex for a comfortable amount of stretch and sun protection rated to UPF 50+, and then added Icefil technology (containing xylitol derived from birch trees) to wick moisture and keep you at a solid five degrees cooler than the air around you. Icefil technology also gives this shirt antimicrobial properties to control odor. ExOfficio also added mesh panels at the sides for ventilation, a full-coverage scuba hood and thumbholes for extra coverage, and a zippered pocket for security.
