Great stuff!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are some of the best 'lightweight' boxer briefs you can get. They are light, breezy and supportive. what more can you ask for? The sizing is great and the seams are nearly exact. I prefer a 6 inch inseam to prevent riding up my upper thighs a little bit and create a hotspot, but When they stay, they are AMAZING!

The 3 Inch

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

For me personally, these fit perfect, but since they are the 3 inch model they don't run down the thigh as far as I'd like. They perform as well as the Given N Go 6" in every aspect, from comfort to durability. If you like a short "leg" on your boxer briefs these will be awesome. For me, I prefer the 6 inch.

Not sure why these are not getting 5 stars, they are excellent. I bought them for just wearing them while working out but because of their comfort and fit I now wear them for all occasions. I started with one and now have one of every color.

Thanks Ric!

Pilling within 24 hours of use

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Put them on first time on a flight from NY to Lisbon via London which included a 4 hour layover at London. Total flight time 13 hours during which I had them on. Arrived at Lisbon to see bunch of pilling in the area where jeans pockets rubbed against the underwear and pilling everywhere the fabric rubs against itself(inner thigh area). This is for a underwear that was taken out of box and put on. I did not not expected this from a almost $30 underwear especially since they market it as something that can be worn for days on end. Very disappointed. Going to return for a refund.

HI Rahul,

The best fit for me

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

These boxer are hands down the best fit for me. Perfect hold around my thighs and great fit around my 30in waistline. I have tried a lot of different brands and while some fit well these fit best. On top of that they are comfortable running, hiking, lounging, wet or dry. I would not camp or travel in anything else anymore.

Must have!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

Everyone at Backcountry recommends these exofficio boxers so I gave this as a gift to my bf, and he agrees! He loves them! Really useful when traveling because you can wash them and they will dry really quickly

THERE IS NO FLY.

I generally love Ex Officio underwear, so I went ahead and bought two pair of these as I was retiring some old pairs.

Be thee warned - for whatever reason they decided to make this model fly-free. I don't understand why, nor do I understand why it's not in big bold print on the description. So allow me to clarify - there is NO OPENING in the front of these boxers to make things convenient for your manly needs. Come on, Ex Officio...

I'm a bigger guy and I generate a lot of heat. These boxers are so light and breezy that it is like nothing is there. I initially saw reviews saying these boxers ride up, but I have 'thunder thighs' and these ride up less than anything I have ever worn. I am going to stock pile these bad boys.

Agreed! No noticeable ride-up for me. I wore them on a couple real big days in the mountains, and was very pleased.

    Really wanted these to work

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: Small & Medium

I almost hate to leave this review because I really, really wanted to like these boxers, especially given the price. I thought about giving two stars just because the material does feel amazing. However, I can't justify it because I'm miserable in these boxers. They ride up almost immediately after putting them on and they just won't stay down after repeatedly adjusting them throughout the day. My roommate said it could be because they were too small (I wear a 30-32 waist and got a small) so I ordered a medium. Like I said, I REALLY wanted to like these. But even the mediums ride up immediately and become extremely uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it's the material used or the size or what but I am aware that I'm in the minority (at least the vocal minority). If you want to give them a try, I wouldn't necessarily advise against it, but be prepared to regret it. Who knows, I'm just going to say my thighs are too monstrous for boxer briefs.

I would recommend the small size. Given you size statement it sounds like the Med are to large for you, which means your body isn't engaging the compression in the leg holes. So sorry you have had a poor experience here, I have been really happy in mine, I am a 34" waist and wear a med.

    Wonderful product

Comfortable, performs as described. Love everything about it except the price. Could not be happier. It is really a great product.
