Sorry, but I can't recommend these. I too have thick thighs and a butt, and they are loose when I first put them on and they get more loose as the day goes on. The first time I wore these I hiked Mt. Mitchell and the crotch area fused together - no joke. I had to pull the two leg pieces apart. I'm glad these work for so many others, but not me. The stitching irritates my butt cheeks since it is right in the middle of the cheek and then they get loose and ride up your crack. Awful. The Kinetic by SAXX is my go-to. Amazing underwear. Your stuff stays put and they are antimicrobial. If I'm out of those I'll wear UnderArmour boxer briefs.

Still Holding Up!

Just as a follow up to my previous review, I've used the new pairs I bought at work for the last couple of weeks, lots of walking, up and down stairs and sweating. They still are holding there form at the end of 11 hour shifts and are just as snug as when I first put them on. I will be looking to increase the numbers of pairs I own in the future.

Amazing Fit and Feel

I've been using cotton boxer briefs for a very long time, I finally decided that I needed to explore my options as they just weren't getting the job done anymore. My wife recommended ex-officio and I found these and decided to give them a try. I could not be happier, the fit is great, hugging where it needs to and give ample space where necessary. They hold there form extremely well and have yet to have a day where they are not still hugging my legs at the end (which was a constant problem with my cotton ones). I love that they are lightweight and thin which I find also makes my pants/shorts feel more comfortable when I put them on over these. I would highly recommend these and I definitely be switching over to these on a full time basis.

Ive been looking for the perfect pair of boxers and these are it. The mesh is great and everything fits right in all the right places. Definitely going to stock up on these.

Perfect feel and comfort.

Just one thing to say pure quality! These boxers are perfect to train or just to wear in the regular basis.
I have the 6" version of this and decided to try the 9" version and they are the winners by far, is not that the others are bad, is just that this ones feel perfect.

My regular go-to boxer was the ExOfficio Give-N-Go in the 6" which worked okay until they were getting older. The 6" tends to hike up the leg, so I opted to try the 9". The initial impression was that these were a lot longer, but after wearing the 9" for a few days I like them way better than the 6". I easily work outdoors over 100 days during the summer, and the Exo's are my choice to wear then. With 7-14 days out in the field, the generally hold up well with minimal issues.

If all his EX-Os are dirty, he’ll go commando over wearing his Calvin’s/Duluth Trading Co undies. He’s got thick thighs and a butt - this brand stays put and doesn’t change his legs in the FL heat!

Thanks so much for this review, which really helps out our community.

If you have thick thighs and a butt and don't like things riding down, bunching up or chafe, then these are for you.

Like others have said, these feel great. They do fit a little loose, and if I sized down the waistband would be too small but the mesh part would be spot on. Better to eliminate the muffin top option. If you have a narrow waist and big legs, these would fit perfectly.

I have two pairs of these and on one some of the stitching is starting to come apart after about 10 days and three washes in an actual washing machine (I took these on a backpacking trip, hence that ratio).

Got my second pair...

Now I have to try an live off them for 2 years! Shouldn't be hard, my last 4 boxer briefs gave a few years of service... yea...TMI.

Anyway these are great, mine have pilled and any underwear to underwear contact point has gotten meshed together, but it goes away after a few wears.

Will get more if they came in cooler colors. My older pair's elastic has become a little loose but it's ok.

Best Fitting Boxers

I bought these for my boyfriend as he wanted them to hike in because they are longer. What he soon realized was how unbelievably soft and comfortable they are. I had to go back and buy numerous pairs so he could wear them on a regular basis.

Grown to Really Like

I like long leg boxer briefs but at first did not care for this brand because it seemed looser than others. I prefer snug fit. But over time I've really grown to like these and realize I made an initial error. The style is more relaxed but still supportive , delightfully soft, very light, and the pouch is the right size for me. In the house I wear these like shorts or pajamas. Its a cliche to say 'feels like wearing nothing' but these are close. I'll keep an eye out for sales.

Husband says this brand is one of the best he has ever owned. Soft, comfortable and breathable. They wash well and are also attractive looking. You can't go wrong with a few pairs of these.

The best boxers!

These boxers are the most comfortable ones I have ever worn. They are super soft and stretchy and are great for any activity. The sport mesh nylon material wicks moisture really well to keep you dry all day.

Decent

These make a great comfy pair of briefs. I didn't like how loose they were though. I usually wear a medium, which is what I got, but these aren't quite as snug around the leg as I'm used to. Not a deal breaker, I'm still going to keep them. Very breathable and stretchy.

Not my boxers, but no chaff

I've been a boxers kind of guy since I was a wee lad, but I finally got sick of chaffing on my long treks so I decided I finally needed to switch from my cotton boxers. I was a little wary of wearing these on a hike for the first time, so I decided to wear them to work (I work at a desk most of the day). As I expected they weren't super comfortable at the office. However as soon as I got off work and got on the trail, I immediately noticed a difference. No longer did I have damp boxers bunching up and no signs of chaffing either. I'll wear these on a 2 week trek coming up and have more to report, but I'm currently very pleased and would recommend these to a friend.
