All the basics without the weight.

There's no need to carry unnecessary weight on a ride--that's why you're down to three donuts a day, right? You don't need pastries on the trail, but you do need water, a multitool, layer, and food, and you can load it all up in the Evoc CC Plus 2L Bladder Hydration Pack without lugging around an ounce more than you have to. The CC weighs in at just 500g, and has just two small external pockets to carry small gear, along with a main compartment for the included two-liter bladder and a rain jacket. Air Mesh shoulder straps and an Atilon PE foam back panel keep you cool, and the slightly shorter back length, hip belt, and sternum strap keep the pack from bouncing around as you clean tough climbs and punch some ripping singletrack. The CC is tough, too, with 210D nylon fabric that stands up to tree branches, rocks, and gravel, and a PU coating that repels water to keep your gear dry when a shower moves in.

Well made and thought out pack

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Evoc 6L pack is a very good pack. Everything you want and nothing you don't. Looks great. Simple but effective design and very well made. The material sems to be a nylon tht looks pretty resistant to dirt. I wouldn't call it a minimal pack because it is quite roomy. Pocket for personal items like wallet, phone, keys (key fob clip). Smaller bottom pocket for gels, bars, or small multi-tool. Very large main compartment that holds bladder and plenty of room for tubes, tools, compact jacket, food, pump, etc. I would consider it an all day pack and it will fit a 3L bladder. Vented shoulder straps are nice. I think it is made for a larger person. I am 5'7 and it is quite long at 18" in length but still fits me fine.

There are a few things I would change. I would like to see a dedicated hydration pocket to separate the bladder from the main compartment or a mesh tool organizer in main compartment. It is quite pricey pack but it is good.

    Great Minimalist Pack

This thing is comfortable and fits everything you would need for a full day ride. Not big enough for multiple layers, but will fit a rain jacket. Well designed, light weight. Fits tube, tool, phone, snacks easily as well. I don't understand why people are buying gigantic heavy packs when this fits everything you need.

      Perfect Size Pack

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Fast becoming one of my favorite hydration packs, the CC 6L is the perfect size for the mountain biking I do.

My average weekend MTB ride in Utah is around four or five hours. This pack hold enough water, tools and snacks.

The bladder contains no strange plastic after taste and is easy to clean.

I am 5' 5 and this pack fits perfect. There is plenty of room to adjust for someone taller or shorter.

However there is not a ton of venting on the back for hot weather, but other than that I use this pack for everything from riding to hiking.

      Plus I love the color!

      How to Measure Your Torso:
Measure your torso length by bending your head forward so your chin touches your chest. Feel for the most prominent bump at the back of your neck. Now measure from that point down to an imaginary line connecting the tops of your hips around your back. This works best with a partner's help.
