He should be prepared, after all.

Eureka's Cypress Sleeping Bag matches his scout uniform and readies him for any camping trip his troop is planning. ThermaShield insulation mixes hollow-core with solid-core synthetics for long-lasting reliability from spring to fall. The 3/4-length zipper has an anti-snag webbing so it doesn't get stuck, and there's a draft tube so your young camper doesn't feel any cold spots throughout the night. Eureka also added an internal pocket for a headlamp and included a convenient stuff sack.

Not just for kids

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I am 5’2” and was looking for an easy car camping bag. This was the best choice I could have made. I fit well, it keeps me warm, and it kept my wallet happy. A little heavy and bulky, but who cares when you’re car camping?

Wait, Junior or Dog Sleeping bag?

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I actually got this for my dog Kolob who is a 75lb German Sheprador who loves sleeping in her mom's sleeping bag, so I got her this! I went with synthetic due to her being a dog and most likely being wet from swimming or rain while backpacking. It's a good size and seems pretty warm and durable. For being a smaller bag it doesn't pack up as well as I would like it to...and it's also not super light....it is also only $60, so a great buy!

fits good

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

got this for my husband, Hes 5'7 and fits in it snug. he likes the draw string for that extra snuggle. easy to use.

Buy this!

I ordered two of these for my children. They are perfect! Very warm, pack-able, cozy, and affordable. It says they can fit a person up to 5'6'', but I think 5' 4'' is more accurate. You want your head tucked in! The bag keeps you warm in 15* temps and is lightweight. What more do you need? My only problem with this purchase is that the price went way down since I ordered them. Not fair! Order this!

Very nice youth bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My 8 year old stays toasty warm in this bag. The bag is a bit long for him as he is only 50 inches tall right now and he still stays warm. Have used this down to 35 deg overnight.

Great Youth Bag

Got this for our grandson. 10 yrs old, 4'6", 66 lbs. Fits him nicely but still has a foot of growing room. Zipper works nicely and he doesn't have problems with it getting stuck. Good warm bag that we use in the Sierra, much like our 0 degree Eureka Kaycee bags. Came with a stuff sack but for backpacking we put it in an Outdoor Research 15L Airpurge compression sack. Made it small enough that he could carry it inside his REI 38L Passage backpack with plenty of room leftover for clothes, food, etc.

Toasty Warm

We purchased two of these for our boys (8 & 10)- they were snuggly warm camping Colorado mountains. An amazing buy for price and temperature rating & they arrived on time as promised!!

Sleeping Bag super warm!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Love this bag, bought two for both our kids ages 9 and 11. They love this bag and they have room to grow. The bag will be used for camping in the Adirondacks and sleepovers (which it may be too warm for) It comes with a bag to pack it in, just simply push it all in there and tighten up the bag, it's great to store and/or travel with. It's lightweight as well. I do wish it came in different colors, but both boys love it, so I'm not complaining.

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

You definitely get what you pay for. The bag would have definitely kept me warm. What I didn't like was that the zipper had already gotten stuck after I took it out of the box to lay it open, and the insulation was coming out of the seams.

Not packable

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Just got this in yesterday for our little guy, but he won't get a chance to try it. It's just not packable. Compressed it measures 10" in diameter and 13" long. It won't fit in our packs so it's going back. Bummer because the price is really great. I'm sure it would work great for car camping or slumber parties, but if you need to pack look elsewhere.

Did you try a compression sack?

Whew, sorry Lauren, I just saw this. Yes, we tried the compression sack it came with and some others we have around the house. It was massive. We ended up just using my husband's old bag for my son because it was way more packable than this one.
