Light enough for road, tough enough for dirt duty.

If you’re finishing off a dream build, consider ENVE’s Stem as your final, high-end touch. Weighing in at just about 125 grams, it’s among the lightest stems out there, but its stiffness and rigidity are what really make it one of the best all-around. The body of the stem is full carbon fiber, while the faceplate is aluminum, and the hardware titanium. The threads are molded into the stem, rather than having bonded-in inserts, to both save weight and make the stem stronger.

    Made in UTAH

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Great stem, super stiff, very sleek looking...adds a lot to the ride. I own a set of Enve wheels too...worth every penny.

Hi, can you confirm this is made in Utah now and not overseas? I thought only the wheels and mountain stem are made in Utah.

As light as you can get

I have an ENVE handlebar, so this stem was a no brainer. It falls on the expensive side, but you will feel the difference.

      Enve is king

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love the feel, strength, size (120mm for me), and look. Really added to the bike handling by adding 10 mm more to the front. Can’t beat Enve

      Sweet Looking Cockpit!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I upgraded everything that could be carbon on my bike and the Enve stem and handlebar is a no brainer. I already have Enve wheels so any other cockpit brand on my bike would have looked silly. The fit and finish is absolutely gorgeous. Honestly, for the cost they are not that much lighter than good lightweight aluminum. However, nothing looks as good and makes the cockpit look this sweet. Enve carbon products look amazing and are the best I've used. It did muffle road chatter some and they are plenty stiff when pulling on the stem and bars. I highly recommend.

      A great stem!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Stems were always something that I didn't feel were absolutely necessary to worry about. However, I absolutely love this stem and especially when paired with the Enve road bar. It really makes for a very smooth cockpit! If you are looking to upgrade your cockpit, I would highly recommend looking into the Enve stem.

      A fantastic upgrade!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use this in combination with the Enve handlebar and computer mount. It is light and responsive while dampening some road chatter. What else could one want from a stem? Oh, the looks. The black-on-black looks mean and classy. A fantastic upgrade.

      Great upgrade

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was surprised at how much the carbon dampens vibration compared to my aluminum stem. It's quite stiff and super responsive. And the matte black looks siiick.
Anyone looking to improve their road bikes performance, looks, and weight should look into this stem.

Does it really minimize vibration? I'm now using a Specialized SL stem and would love to minimize vibration. Do you think this would do the trick?

Is this strictly for road use?

No, I called ENVE for the same question. They say this version is prior to the Mountain Stem they sell, and is intended for both road and mountain use.

      Perfect Stem

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have this stem on a road bike and love it. I have the 120 mm. Combined with an ENVE carbon bar, the road vibrations are very dampened and my hands stay comfortable longer. I initially rode it with an aluminum bar and liked it then, but now with a carbon bar, it's even more comfortable. It's expensive, but ENVE is the best there is and engineer their products to be safe and to last a long time, which is totally reassuring to me when I ride. I have met some of the people at the company and was totally impressed with them, and with their online safety demos of their products. I'm really happy with this purchase that is part of my dream bike.

      Unanswered Question

Is this available in -17 angle? I understand that there isn't a lot of demand for -17 but it seems like -6 is a drastical deviation from -17. Maybe something like -10 would've been a good compromise.

      Awesome Stem, Great Finish

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this stem to pair with my Enve Handlebar, and both have proven to be great purchases. The finish on the stem is immaculate, and has a beautifully understated look to it. The clamping area of the stem affords a snug fit for the Enve bar, but not so tight that it mars the paint. It is as stiff a stem as I will ever need, and respectably light.

The stem looks like a negative rise but...

The stem looks like a negative rise but the description says positive. Please confirm.

You can run the ENVE Stem with a 6 degree positive or negative rise. The graphics will look the same either way.
