FS260-Pro Bibshort

Now in its third generation, the FS260-Pro Bibshort from Endura is its bestselling model thanks to its technical fabrics, comfortable chamois, and overall value. Its Italian Lycra fabric provides exceptional support for working muscles while its stretch mesh bib upper offers moisture and optimal breathability. Endura cuts the bib in a pre-curved race fit that's supportive and comfortable and designed to fit while in the riding position.

Perhaps the star of the show is the bib's 600-Series chamois. Its shape is designed using a computer cut “Continuously Variable Profile” process from a single piece of foam. A TRS perforated layer under the top sheet improves blood flow and wicking on long rides while gel inserts provide just the right amount of stretch. It's topped with a soft, microfiber face fabric with a permeant antibacterial finish and a front mesh panel that improves airflow.

Up top, raw edge power bands with inner silicone print keep the straps in place helping to eliminate any chafing and excessive bulk. Lastly, reflective twin stripes on the rear of each leg help improve visibility in low light.

Wanted to like it

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Recently tried Endura at the recommendation of a friend. I was also attracted by reviews about their workmanship, low-profile logos, and simple design. Putting these on out of the box I noticed the high quality material. But also noticed the tight straps which worried me considering the thing I hated about my Castellis was the straps chaffed my nipples if I didn?t wear a base layer on hot days. Rode these a couple times and found the straps to be okay, but compression on the thighs to be tight enough to leave rings on my skin afterward. Might have been able to get used to all this, but eventually the deal breaker was when I noticed stitching starting to come apart along the exterior of the chamois. May have just gotten a lemon pair, but there was enough to dislike regardless that I returned and switched to another well-known slightly more expensive hipster brand that I?ve been much happier with.

One BIG pad and questionable straps

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Having the Endura Pro SL which I find very comfortable and then buying these, there is just to much of a difference for me to be comfortable with. The "straps" amount to two cords on each side given the fabric between them is completely unable to keep them separated. The result is the cords on each side slide towards each other as they pass the chest, and then just about come together at the shoulder. The material between the cords has nowhere to go other than bulge out. I suppose if you somehow have trapezius muscles that are flat across rather than sloped and smaller pecks they may work, but not happening for me. The pad is huge so if that is your thing then these may be for you. It did seem like it is a better quality pad but it there was too much bulk in the front, and the rear is so big is made me look like I had a short duck tail. Unlike the Pro SL, the bib is supportive in the lower abs (Pro SL is waist-high in the front). Legs seemed like they would have been fine for both grip and length. When I buy bike clothes I use real measurements, not the size of my pants or shirt/jacket. I then make sure I buy the size that every applicable measurements fits in. These were the correct size doing it that way. I am short with an athletic build Hips 37 Natural waist 33.5 (size 28 in street pants) Chest 37.5 (jacket size 38S) Biceps 13.5
