Edelrid's polyester-sheathed indoor rope handles gym chemicals and repeated falls better than standard nylon
The Edelrid Boa Gym is purpose-built for climbers who treat the gym as their primary training ground, not a crossover rope pressed into indoor duty but one built from the sheath out for the specific abuse of gym walls. At 40 meters it meets the lead wall requirements of most climbing gyms, and the Thermo Shield treatment and double-braid construction work together to keep the rope feeding cleanly and tracking true through a belay device across hundreds of sessions. The 3D lap coiling means it unpacks tangle-free at the base of the wall so the first move of every session is onto the wall, not into a knot.
