EA90 SL Road Wheel - Clincher

The newly revamped Easton EA90 SL Road Wheel gives you even more reasons to make this clincher your go-to wheel for those long, hard training rides. It’s also the ideal race wheel for heavier riders who like to put the hurt on at the front of the peloton.

The rim is now tubeless compatible (when used with tubeless tape), which also means it takes on a wider profile. The EA90 rims are engineered from extruded aluminum alloy. The new internal width is 17.5mm to provide more stability for your tires. It also was designed as a 25mm deep section, which means it is stable in crosswinds and also ideal for climbing.

Easton used its new Echo hubs for the EA90 SLs. These feature sealed cartridge bearings for a smooth ride. The drive side hub shell is oversized, which provides stiffness for faster acceleration, while the Shimano-compatible alloy freehub reduces excess weight. The hubs are laced to the rims using Sapim’s proven, straight-pull spokes.
