It's a matter of perspective how you view the Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Shoe Sac. With this translucent, ultralight shoe storage solution, you're either saving your shirts from viciously muddy soles or shielding dress shoe leather from abrasive buttons and snaps on your slim-fitting silk cowboy shirts. The 30D silylon ripstop fabric resists stains and water and is machine-washable when the filth factor gets too high. A quick-grab handle makes it simple to access your footwear instead of wasting precious line-dancing time rummaging through your luggage.

- Q & A
Ripped at the seam on first use
Got two of those for me and my wife. One ripped at the seam on first use. On closer inspection the stitching was very poorly aligned and preformed on the very edge of the fabric so not surprising it became undone so easily. Disappointing to see such poor quality control on such an expensive item. Eagle Creek's "Warranty" requires to you to send it, at your expense, to their factory and it takes several weeks for it to be returned. Shipping, even with the cheapest basic post is still half the price of the item. Skip it if you don't have a sewing machine at home...
Item did not last long. I used it to carry my shower sandals. Not impressed. I attempted to return and no can do after 30days. Skip this item.
Great for shoes and more
I love the entire series - seems ridiculous to spend money on a bag like this but it is way better than shoving your shoes in a plastic grocery bag.
It does a great job doing exactly what it is supposed to do - plus my suitcase is full of cool colors of eagle creek cubes and bags keeping me neat and organized.
Fits a reasonable sized pair of hiking boots or sneakers and sandals.
lightweight and functional but delicate
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Had a whole bunch of the Eagle Creek Specter bags. Love them and use them constantly for anything from computer paraphernalia to rain coat and an extra t-shirt in the bag. they weight next to nothing and are extremely effective at keeping the clutter in big bag space. The stitching did come loose on average on about 10% of them eventually and once it does it keeps breaking up if you don't mend it. I tried sending it to Eagle Creek for repair one, and they did stitch it back but it took a month and i had to pay to ship it to them, which considering the value of the bag and the cost of a new one is not practical. Still for the sale prices they seems to be on everywhere its a great accessory.
