The RC probably doesn't really stand for Rando Compatible since Dynafit is an Austrian-based company, but the RC 28 Backpack combines a rando-friendly weight with features that work for ski mountaineers and backcountry skiers. Its 28-liter capacity is certainly on the larger side of rando-specific packs, but that makes it all the better for full days on the mountain, or a half day if you're doing a less-athletic ski tour with a group of friends. Tour-friendly features include Dynafit's unique ski carry system, a sleeve for hydration reservoirs, quick-and-easy access to avalanche gear, and holders for helmets and ice axes.
