This backcountry ski is a beast of a powdery nature. Not only does it live up to its name, but it also lives up to Dynafit's standard for skiing fast and touring conveniently. We like that it tracks powder well on the downhill as well as the uphill, and the tip notch certainly speeds up transitions like we're riding rando, not powder. This year, the Beast is 250 grams lighter, and still has a carbon layup to significantly decrease chatter that you'd usually expect out of a ski this light.
