Simple clipping and unclipping from now on.

DMM designed its AERO Bent Carabiner with a clean nose and a deep bent gate to make clipping and unclipping as simple as can be so you can cruise past bolts while you climb. This hot-forged carabiner is very strong for how little it weighs, and rope grooves direct your rope in the strongest spot for excellent longevity.

    Best clipping action....

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I read some reviews on this carabiner and decided to try one out. I love it! Really nice, easy, smooth clipping action. When you're leading, you want a biner that is just easy to clip. I'll buy more to replace my old trad biners....

Pretty much the best rope 'biner

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got 10 of these to replace some super old rope biners in my sport draws. As the other review mentioned they just eat the rope. The groove in in the end of the gate is the perfect size and in the perfect place, then the wider mouth of the biner makes it so your fingers and rope can fit inside. All together this biner is the easiest to clip that I have ever experienced.

Is there a word better than stupendous?

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Picked up a handful of these guys to use with my trad gear. My normal gear is the DMM shadow. The Aero just seems to attract the rope like nothing else. Made it so much easier to clip in and go. If the rope hits any part of the gate The notch near the opening of the gate grabs it every time. When I need more I know what I'll be getting.
