Solid Bar

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This bar is exactly what I was hoping for, while one review said the color wasn't what it said, I actually think the color is pretty spot on. It's not a fire engine red if that's what you're looking for. What I do know is that it looks lit on the bike, it's the perfect rise and it steers where I point it. hahaha... Really though, it's a solid bar and a perfect way to make your bike unique.

Color on site way WAY off

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

So, first off, I've used Diety products before and they all tend to be great. I'm sure this bar is very high quality (returned before use, so don't really know), however, the Red color is so far off from what it really is ... which is a dark burgundy color, nothing close to "red". The odd thing is, this isn't Competitive Cyclist's fault, I'm sure they used stop images from Diety (the Diety site color of red is very far off as well), its clear that someone that did the product shots really messed up the color processing here.

Service from Competitive Cyclist was good as usual, I'm returning the bars unused since they are way off color from what I was expecting. Sort of sad, cause they do look (and feel in the hand) like very good quality bars. The finish is fantastic (just not the right color).

Still haven't installed them yet, but...

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love the color and will ultimately end up cutting them down some (they're wicked wide compared to my stock Giant bars). But they're the same bend and material so I don't see how I couldn't like them!

Great customer service from CC as always!
