Your feet will thank you.

Like their taller siblings, DeFeet's Woolie Boolie 1 inch socks take advantage of merino wool's nearly mythical properties to ensure feet stay warm and dry in winter's most inhospitable riding or running conditions. By blending the wool with synthetic fibers, the midweight socks achieve a close, second-skin fit and are soft, not itchy. Best of all, merino wool is naturally anti-microbial, so you'll be able to take the Woolie Boolies on multiple adventures in a row without worrying about offending the olfactory senses of any of your running or riding companions.

Everyday, every occasion

I love these socks by Defeet. Bought a pair of the higher 6" originally, which are great too. I use these to commute to work, and the height is all day comfortable for me. But, I also wear them for just about every occasion. They have a great amount of cushion and wicking capability. So far these are the most durable and also most versatile socks I've ever owned.

    Never want to take off

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I have 3 pairs of Woolie Boolie socks and they have quickly become my favorites! I have worn Darn Tough and Smartwool but these socks hold up for way longer. They are great for cycling and also everyday use. I've been caught in the low teen weather without shoe covers before with these on and their warmth kept my toes alive. I wouldn't recommend going that cold but it was nice to know they will work in frigid temps in a pinch. The longer Woolie BBoolies (which are currently out of stock) are just as great. Give them a try!
