Light in Weight, Heavy on Performance.
One fact rises above the rest: the Women's Leggera Jersey is an unmistakable specimen of De Marchi craftsmanship. Merging comfort-driven details with graceful flair on the road, this hot weather jersey features a slim, contoured fit for a refined look and feel, sans the suctioned sensation. Meanwhile, the microfiber fabric is lightweight and quick-drying when you're riding through oppressive summer heat.
Additionally, the Leggera features UV-resistant color options, discouraging the absorption of light and its consequential heat. The full-length zipper allows you to release excess body heat when you're suffering through extended climbs or pushing your aerobic threshold during training rides, while reflective details enhance visibility to passing traffic when you're finishing up after sunset. Additionally, the Leggera features three roomy pockets along the backside (as well as a zippered option) for storing spare water bottles, riding jackets, and nutrition.

Ok Jersey- Only Get if On Sale
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This jersey is Ok and it's left me with a decent impression. I've worn it a couple times already in very hot weather, in rain, in cooler temps, in humidity, and I feel like I have a good understanding of the pro/cons of it. Con 1- the material is surprisingly cheap feeling compared to my amazing De Marchi bibs that I've been wearing for over a year. I got this jersey for less than $30 and can say I would not have spent a penny more on it, let alone $120 more for the original price of it. Pro 1- The gripper on the sleeves are very nice since they are the integrated silicone band that's wide which I love on my bibs and are not too constricting for someone with very large biceps. Con 2- The material does not lend itself to be a super fast drying tech material which is a little bit of a problem as I had intended for this to be my summer, hot weather jersey in hopes it would wick sweat quickly, which it doesn't. It says that it's lightweight material for hot weather but I can say that while it's lightweight, that's more due to the lack of quality than the technology. It can be difficult to get off when you are very sweaty as the arms a race fit tight and the material seems to cling to sweaty skin which made disrobing a bit of a task- a thing to keep in mind for those of us ladies who love to wear bibs and might need an emergency rest stop. Pro 2- Full sized pockets plus a zipper is nice. I can fit cleat covers, iphone 8, some Gus, and a car key and not feel like I am going to lose anything. Con 3- cheap plastic zipper- I can already tell the quality of the zipper is probably going to be this jersey's downfall. It is difficult to unzip quickly when I needed to vent after getting soaked in a rain storm and the humidity picked up when the sun came out. It was then even more of a chore to zip it back up single handed (I had to use my teeth to hold the jersey in place to assist with zipping back up). Pro 3- It is a few inches shorter on the torso in the front than the back so it doesn't hang down below my chamois. I am a shorter woman (5'1") with a short torso and find most smalls are dresses on me and my shoulders are too large for an Xsmall. Pro 4- So far it has held up in the washer and dryer after a few rounds and nothing is threadbare yet.
If you want a cheap race fit jersey, get this so long as it's on sale. If you want a race fit jersey with quality, look elsewhere.
