De MarchiAerodinamico Bib Short - Women’s

Classic cycling style.

Good bib shorts at an acceptable price point are hard to find, so when the De Marchi Aerodinamico Women's Bib Shorts roll across our desk, you'd better believe they're going in our shopping cart. They provide everything a discerning cyclist could want from a pair of bibs, with hand-selected Italian fabrics, thoughtful design, and a classic profile with just a hint of supportive compression that will have you feeling as good as you look on the road.

Like most of De Marchi's best gear, these bib shorts employs the company's ergonomic Contour fit, which uses a highly elastic leg-wrapping panel to support your muscles and reduce fatigue. The shorts are also designed with a mobility-boosting shape and finished with an elastic-and-gel leg gripper, so they won't ride up or bunch uncomfortably. Inside, an Elastic Interface women-specific chamois provides stretchy, targeted cushioning for sensitive areas with multi-density foam proviing strategic support for firmness where you want it and space where you don't.

  • A cycling bib short with classic styling
  • Stretchy fabrics allow full freedom of movement
  • Elastic grippers stay softly in place with strategically placed gel strips
  • Multi-density chamois provides targeted support without excess bulk
  • Reflective details increase visibility to other in low light

Good for short rides

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Nice bib shorts, good fit and I love the wide band on the leg grippers, BUT I would not recommend them for longer rides(25+ miles) because I didn't find the chamois to be comfortable after a few hours. Good quality for the price though. I bought a small and I'm 5'3", 120lbs.

Not bad despite a thin chamois

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

When I unwrapped these I was a bit hesitant because of the thin chamois. But, I tried them on and appreciated the fit, style and grip (not sticky, but more a fabric that provides support without creating a 'sausage leg'). I wore them for a quick 35 mile spin and they stayed in place nicely, and the chamois was comfortable. I'm not sure I would wear these on a ride longer than 50 miles, but I may try. And for the price, I might just purchase a second pair.
