Another great sock

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Yet another great sock from DT Vermont. I use this as a thin calf high cycling sock through the colder months. All the great proponents of wool, and of course, quality craftsmanship of DT. I really love this ultra thin sock.

Great Ski Sock!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave these as a gift for my brother-in law. He needed a thin, warm ski sock and these Darn Tough socks are just that! No complaints! True to the size of his regular sock size.

Quality Ski Sock

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a really nice light ski sock that offers great breathability without sacrificing warmth. Fits nicely into both my alpine and touring boots, no issue with protection from boot liner, and durability has been good through the season. Over the calf design is always nice to cover more surface area for warming purposes.

Perfect for Snowboarding

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and he has always been a huge fan of Darn Tough socks for snowboarding. The Ulta-light pair is his personal favorite and claims even though they are light, they kept his feet extremely warm throughout the cold temps on the slopes.

High quality but tight

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

These are great socks, but are a bit tight fitting. My calves are pretty big so I'm sure they would be fine for most people. I hope they stretch out a little bit.

Very nice for snowboard boots

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

First day wearing them I got to ride these on a day that started in the teens and ended up in the upper 30's. I was a bit worried that they would not be warm enough but once I got them in the boots they were just fine. They were comfortable and really form fit your foot and ankle. Zero bunching of the fabric. They really fit your foot nicely. They seemed quite long as they went all the way up to my knee. I was surprised at how nice these sock are to wear. I would probably not wear these on a day that is below 10 degrees. They are a thin weave fabric, so not a lot of insulation. Great choice for touring in snowboard boots because of the wicking power of these socks. My feet almost seemed dry when I took them off at the end of the day. Well designed sock. I love them!
