Darn comfy, too.

Treat your feet to the blister-free bliss of the Darn Tough Women's Merino Wool Over-The-Calf Padded Cushion Ski Socks. Your toes will throw a party at the end of the day to thank you. Merino wool naturally breathes, helps to move moisture away from your skin, and thanks to a clever construction, the seam at the toe is essentially unnoticeable for ultimate comfort. Light padded in the shin and at the back of the foot helps to take the bite out of rugged boots that would otherwise beat your feet to a pulp.

Pretty Good Sock

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Overall, this sock has been great. I wear it almost every time I go snowboarding. The fit is comfortable, but I wish it had just a little more padding in the foot. The wool is great for temperature regulation, keeping my toes warm on those bitter cold days.

Bang Bang to Shin Bang

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

"Love these socks, especially the extra material on the shins. Helps a bit with shin bang and keeping comfortable for longer on a ski day"

Love Em'

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great ski socks. I like the extra padding and cushion these socks provide without cutting off the circulation to my calf.

Soft and Durable Ski Sock

I use these almost every time I ski, they keep my feet warm and protect my feet and legs in all the right places with extra cushioning in certain areas on the sock. They fit snug and they are very tall, knee length socks. They are wool so they do help regulate the heat in my ski boot when I ski, I love these socks and want to get some more!

I like GUD SOCKS and I cannot lie!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Quality meets comfort. I'm a first chair to last chair kinda girl -- not interested in sitting in the hut to warm up-- these socks keep my toes warm which makes for better days on the slopes.

    Can't go wrong

    • Fit: True to size

Bought for a friend, she says they're warm, loves the padding, and they are the perfect thickness.

These made my wife a believer

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Size Bought: Small

A believer that socks can really make the difference between a good and bad day in the cold. She loves the way they hold her foot snug and stay up over the calf all day in her boots. She wishes there was a little more padding, but says the padding that is there is very comfy. After washing them a few times, still noticing that the padding springs back to life. That's a huge plus. Hate it when cheap socks feel great initially and then die after like 2 uses! These rock!

    Very Comfortable and Warm

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

I gave these as a gift to my sister, who always gets blisters from her old ski socks, and these were a quick remedy to that problem! Super durable construction, and very warm and soft. I can tell that these will last for quite some time, and that they will be able to withstand anything the mountain can throw at you. If you want a great ski sock, look no further.

    Very Comfy Very Comfy

A very comfortable and durable ski sock.

    Perfection

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

These socks are perfect in every way: fit, warmth, durability, and construction. The padding on the shin and foot has kept me from ever getting a blister, even on long days. When I am grabbing socks for a trip darn tough is always my first choice.

    Warmth and comfort

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

After acquiring a few pairs of these socks, I am seriously debating making the full on sock makeover to wool socks. Love these for skiing and especially for touring. They fit super well. I've has some issues with blistering while touring, but these socks seem to do the trick for me!

    Best socks!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

These socks are so warm and comfortable. They are perfect for my ski boots, the padding is really nice! They also fit true to size. All in all they were are great buy and keep my toes so warm!

Better than cotton and no itch

Another gift for mom, I think she likes them with one problem, since she has to wear larger boots for foot issues the tend to slide around a bit. Recommend if that's the case wear thin sparkle thermal socks over the top to give everything super traction. Other than that Merino wool rules!!!

      Soft and Warm

What more could you ask for? They're padded in all the right places and have got to be the softest wool socks I've ever owned.

        Baaaaa!

I really love the Merino, I wear them multiple days between washings. They do twice the work of the average ski sock.

I also prefer these padded types, really helps my foot stay warm and adds comfort. My boots are also a tad packed out, so the extra bulk ensures a somewhat better fit.

Thin socks never worked for me, though some swear they actually keep you warmer.

It's been brutally cold here in Utah as of late, (between 9-17 degress F almost every day) and these have performed quite nicely in these temps. I still get cold toes from time to time, but less so than with other socks I've tried.
