If you're venturing deep into the backcountry on an all-day tour, stay prepared during your journey with the Dakine Poacher RAS 46L Pack. The biggest model in the Poacher line, this pack has room for everything you need when you head out on dawn-to-dusk missions.
A spacious main compartment offers room for lunch, extra layers, camera, and whatever else you might need during a full-day tour, and the back panel access lets you reach what you need without unloading the entire pack. Meanwhile, an avy tool-specific pocket allows quick access to your probe and shovel, should one of your partners get caught in a slide.
This pack is compatible with Mammut's Removable Airbag 3.0 System, or RAS (sold separately), which inflates in seconds to prevent you from getting buried in the event of an avalanche. And if you plan on going big in the backcountry, this pack is also compatible with Dakine's Impact Spine Protector (also sold separately), because you can never take safety too seriously.
