Make your kiddo unstoppable.
It's pretty much common knowledge that wrists are the most common casualty of learning to snowboard. Don't let a trip to Ski Patrol ruin an otherwise great day on the hill. Instead, make sure that Junior is wearing the Dakine Nova Wristguard Jr. Kids' Glove. It has removable wrist braces that help fight against breaks and hyperextensions — making learning to ride way easier. There's also 280g high-loft synthetic insulation to keep your little shredder warm, while the DK Dry waterproof insert ensure that wet hands won't slow them down either. When you're confident they've figured it out, pull out the wrist guards and you'll still have a warm, comfortable glove with all of the features that you've come to expect from Dakine. Getting hurt is a bummer, get better instead.

- Q & A
Great kid's glove
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I'm always on the lookout for good winter wear for my kids. These gloves are great because they are warm. These gloves are even better because they have the built in wrist guards to help prevent unwanted sprains and breaks.
My kids can't live without these
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
My 3 snowboarding kids refused to wear the wrist guard under their gloves so this was a great option to give them the protection that makes ME feel better. They went through at least 6 pairs of these glove over the years. Eventually thru wear and tear the wrist guard cuts inner lining but each pair lasts about 2 seasons.
Great Quality, Great Support
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
I purchased these for my 8 year old son. He is just learning to ski and I wanted something that would keep his fingers very warm and also provide support for all those first time skiing falls. I purchased a size Large. He is pretty tall for his age and has bigger hands, but they fit perfectly. I don't think he liked the wristguards at first, but once he fell a few times without the wristguards in, he realized how beneficial the extra support was. The nice thing about these gloves is that the wristguards can be removed very easily, so if he wants to use the gloves for sledding or just playing in the snow he can. This makes the gloves a great all around winter glove.
