Combining synthetic insulation with a durable exterior, the Dakine Charger Mitten is a great compromise between toasty warmth and protection from the elements. The 110g high-loft synthetic insulation will keep your hands toasty and won't succumb to wilting or saturation, so they'll retain warmth when wet. The nylon outer shell is fortified with a Durable Water Repellent finish, so it'll shed light precip and repel various snow types, from slush, to sleet, to pow. Plus, the palm's leather face fabric is durable and keeps a tight grip on your ski poles and protects your hands from sharp edges in case you get grabby.
