CostaHamlin Polarized 580G Sunglasses

Glare-cutting optics, oversized coverage.

If your life story reads like a classic fishing novel, score a pair of Costa Hamlin Polarized Sunglasses for enhanced vision on the water. These oversize shades fit the largest of faces, and their extra-large coverage wraps around your eyes, ensuring blinding light doesn't leak in from the sides. Using a top-shelf polarized 580 glass lens, these sunglasses block 100% of harmful UV radiation as they cut glare off the shimmering water. Even more impressive, the 580 glass lens filters out yellow and high-energy blue light for enhanced color perception and reduced haze when you're searching for cover and prime fish habitat.

Polarized is perfect

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these as a gift for my honey. He loves them. We can't wait to have them for fishing (based off other people's reviews) but he says they are great for driving around Virginia. We are located in the mountains, and so there are constant times where when driving, the sun is directly in your vision. These sunglasses cut down on so much of the glare.

Must have for fisherman

Great for fishing

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Anytime I go fishing have these sun glasses. The polarized lenses are really effective at spotting fish in deeper water even on days when the light is flat. I let one of my friend use them on a day we were fishing for silvers and he had to go buy a pair that night because he couldn't believe how much better they were than his cheap polarized pair. He talked about how there isn't any glare that he was picking up with his glasses.
The glasses fit very well to my face but I do have a large nose so that could be part of it.

Fish finders

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

Took these stellar shades to the Provo river. Better than Xray vision and much more realistic. The coating on the lens cuts glare to zero and the optical clarity is first rate. The frame is a little large for my narrow face, but I will take function over form on this one.
