    Peace of mind.

You know you'd rather not put blind faith in yourself to make adjustments to your pricey carbon dreamship using a regular wrench, and our Competitive Cyclist Torque Tool's compact design and impressive versatility makes it pretty easy to relinquish control to a toque wrench instead. It comes preset to 5Nm, which is the most useful value for use across your cockpit. The tool includes 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and T20 bits to allow you to adjust a range of carbon componentry if you're lucky enough to have it. It's also small enough to stash in a saddle pack if you think you'll need to make on-the-go adjustments while breaking in—but not breaking—a new cockpit.

    • A torque tool preset to 5nm for adjusting carbon componentry
    • Helps ensure you won't over-tighten or crack carbon
    • Includes four versatile bit sizes

    It works

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Tools are fairly simple for me. They either work or they don't. This tool worked for me. After that it is a matter of longevity, which I can't comment on after such a short time.

    A Little Awkward

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It does the job and makes sure you're not overtightening your carbon components, but it's a little awkward the way it holds in your hand and would maybe be a little harder to use if you don't have a lot of hand strength.

    Damaged Super Six frame

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I used this to torque the seat post binder of my Cannondale Super Six and crimped the seat tube. It applied substantially more torque than I do by hand before it clicked - I should have realized something was wrong. Ironically, I purchased it to avoid this very problem.

    Nice but small

Nice that it comes with some standard bits. The 5nm is fairly accurate, the only issue is that the size of it makes it a little difficult to torque.

      holds a little weird

Nice to have to make sure you are not over cranking your bolts. Kind of an odd shape. But works well.

        The Key to Torquing

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This compact torque wrench has been an awesome tool for my quick parking lot and trailside tightening needs. It's super versatile with the included bits and it's made of high quality materials.

Must have for quick trail maintenance

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This little tool is a torque life saver in the field. 5nm torque is tough to achieve with random hand tools. Get it right with this little doo-dad.

        Must Have

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a must have if you own a carbon bike. Keeps you from over tightening things and damaging your frame.

So this will stop at when it’s reaches the appropriate torque?

        Hey,

It will click when it is at the proper torque. It is a must have when tightening your carbon bars or seatpost.

        very nice, easy to use

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Works great for me, saw recommendations to go for the 5nm since it's pretty universal. Primarily I wanted this for the seat post, so I would not overtighten. Worked great.

        Great for the price

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is an awesome tool to bring at your rides. It's small and lightweight.
The 5nm preset is enough for almost all the components. Taking into account that a tool with multiple torque options will cost you around 3 times more.

        Nice option

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

When dealing with carbon it's necessary to use a torque wrench, but probably not necessary to have an adjustable wrench. This simple 5Nm wrench works perfectly for the vast majority of carbon product installs and worked perfectly for my cockpit overhaul.

        As advertised

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Tidy, neat, clean, and simple. It works, and gives you confidence and piece of mind that you used proper torque spec.

Super handy tool to have at the ready on the tool bench or in your pack/saddle bag.

        Neat and clean

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Seemingly too simple, but does exactly what it is designed to do; tells you when enough is enough. Diito to all of the other comments. Nice to know that you are not over doing it and stressing expensive components. Interchangeable sized bits are a nice bonus. I am not up to speed on all of the recommended torque settings for all components, but the preset 5Nm seems appropriate for most of the cockpit tolerances; stem, bars, seat post, saddle. No brainer for the price.

In the pack or on the workbench

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I honestly just have this sitting on the workbench most of the time. If you ever need to tighten your seat clamp, grabbing this thing is much easier than setting the torque on your wrench, finding the right bit, etc.

        Fine Tuning

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This thing is awesome for carbon bikes. Take a little stress out of tightening your carbon components up.

        Great tool to have.

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

If you take your carbon seatpost off often, as I do, this tool is great. Reset that perfect torque setting without worry. Works great on stems, shoes, and other carbon bits.

        Handy little Tool

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Pretty simple design, but really handy to have around. Compact and covers most tools you may need for minor adjustments when out and about. Never hurts to be prepared.

        Great Free Tool

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Got this as a free gift with another purchase. Great for stems and seatposts
