Returning - narrow waist and fluffy seat

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Hmmm.... Not so sure about the unisex sizing on these Columbia pants. The waist is very narrow, seat very fluffy, and legs nearly skin tight. I'm pretty small and muscular. I typically wear a size 4, and am straighter hip to waist. 30" waist, 34" hip. I do have large calves.... but these are just off somehow. I would not be able to sit comfortably, and definitely not able to hike/paddle/cycle with these on - which was kind of the point! So I'm returning.
