A heavyweight in warmth and performance.

The Men's Heavyweight II Tight is Columbia's warmest baselayer for skiing in the middle of winter. An Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining boosts this baselayer's warmth by reflecting your body heat back to you, and Omni-Wick manages moisture in case you start sweating on the slopes. Columbia added an antimicrobial treatment for odor-resistant convenience.

Crazy Warm

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

These are definitely some of the warmest tights I've ever owned. I've been wearing these under my snow pants that have essentially no insulation down to around 15 or so degrees Fahrenheit, and they are keeping me nice and toasty. One of the vents on the legs of my pants is stuck open and these are keeping me warm even so. I am generally around 31 waist and about the same for inseam. I went with a size small, regular length, and they are a great fit!

Good insulation

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

Used this for a week out in Colorado. Temps were 15-20 degrees F and windy at times. Had no issues, legs were warm the whole time. This was the only thing I had on under my snow pants besides compression shorts.

Fit is obviously tight. Length was good.
