Convert the contents of your closet.
Sometimes, cycling situations call for pants or shorts that don't have a chamois. But whether you're wearing mountain shorts on singletrack, a pair of jeans to go out on the town, or you just prefer normal shorts to skintight Lycra, you may still want the comfort of a chamois. Club Ride Apparel appreciates your plight, and provides the Air Liner Bib Shorts as a solution. With the Air Liner, every pair of pants you own can be immediately converted to cycling kit.
The Air Liners are made with Active Flow fabric, a quick-drying, very breathable material that lets the Air Liners stretch, conform, and support like any other bib shorts. The suggestively titled EZP cut features a low rise in the front for quick bio breaks, and they include a pocket in the bibs for a media device. The ten inch inseam is a little long for many over shorts, but anything that reaches near your knee will hide the Airs completely.
The chamois is ten millimeters of long-range comfort, with antibacterial properties courtesy sanitization by MITI. It also includes a Tainted Air gel insert that absorbs road or trail noise, an appreciated feature that you won't see in most high-end Euro bib shorts.
The Club Ride Apparel Air Liner Bib Shorts - Men's are available in four sizes ranging from Small to X-Large in the color Raven.
- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Small
The Air Liner has quickly become one of my go-to chamois, putting it in company with Assos and Giordana bibs. The 10mm thick chamios provides all day comfort without the "diaper" feeling of other offerings. The bib straps help keep everything in place, and the sizing is true to form. I'm 5'7", 140lbs, and wear a small in just about every bibs (medium in Castelli), and the small Air Liners are on par. Grab a pair and put them on under your favorite baggies, or even consider these as a piece to help keep the sweat down on the trainer.
