Better than ever.

Few products have stood the test of time like Cinelli Cork bar tape. That goes double for products within the bike industry. Cinelli Gel Cork Tape is just your old favorite with a thin layer of gel to absorb road shock and vibration.

Great feel

    Classic cork tape

    Grippy and comfy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This tape is non-adhesive and easy to install with some kind of finishing tape as well. The cork look is clean and stands out but not too much. The tape provides a plush feel and has held up so far

    great feel

looks great on the handlebars and is comfortable.

      Looks and Comfort

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used Cinelli cork tape for years, and recently bought this to replace a family members worn out tape. It's very easy to install and doesn't require much stretch at all, other than to help prevent slippage or unwrapping. I was reminded of just how comfortable the bars feel with this tape after having finished the job, and the red looks good and adds some "pop" to the bike.

      Plush and wraps well

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this stuff. Really reasonably priced, lasts a long time, and comes in a ton of different colors. It also is nice and stretchy, so you can "tune" how soft or hard you want it to feel by how tight you wrap it.

      Happy hands.

I love this bar tape!! put it on my commuter/trainer bike and it so comfy! They are high quality and i love the feel of them. Highly recommend if you're looking for a plush bar tape.

This stuff is great! I have it on two of my bikes. Its affordable and comfortable and it looks sweet too!

Comfiest My Hands Have Ever Been

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I didn't think I'd love riding my bike anymore than I already do, but I was wrong! As soon as I wrapped up my handle bars with these bad boys I never wanted to let go. I have never used the gel cork and I was pleasantly surprised at the difference in comfort versus the standard cork tape.

They are holding up super well, so far so good!!

        Certified dope

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This tape has a thin layer of some non-stick silicone like stuff on the back instead of tape. It keeps it put better than adhesive, it's easier to work with, and it won't leave a bunch of gunk on your bars when you unwrap it - genius.

It's nice and stretchy and easy to get a good clean looking wrap with. It's a little squishier than your average cork tape. The natural cork color is beautiful and looks right at home on old steel bikes.

The finishing tape looks cool but it's useless - as usual. Use electrical tape.

        Sweet Tape!

I got this tape for my commuter and plan on getting this same stuff again when it needs to be replaced. There's enough padding that it's super comfortable for long rides without gloves, and it's super easy to install.

        What I'll order next time...

I find this much more comfortable than the standard cork. It looks good in multiple colors, and it works well.

Is one order enough to cover the right & left sides of the handlebar or do I need to place 2 quantity orders?

          Hey Joe,

One is enough to cover both sides of your bars.

          In a few words...

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I know, most of us cyclists love to go about talking on the details of everything involving our bikes. This time, I want to keep it simple. I haven't used too many brands on Handlebar tape, but from all that I've used or ridden with this cork tape from Cinelli makes me seriously consider not buying anything else other than another of the same set AND COLOR (classy cork).

Easy to install, resistant, comfortable and classy. Enough tape to wrap it the way you want, with more or less stretching.

          Good Stuff!

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This stuff is great, has been my go-to tape for some time now. Super easy to wrap; the gel layer really sticks to the bars and it's thicker so you're not as concerned about tearing it when applying tension. Padding is significantly increased compared to their standard cork tape and it washes well with soap and water. Depending on how much I ride (or crash) it's normally durable enough to last through the season.

          Killer no filler

I have been using these on my commuter for a while now and they have held up really well. They provide awesome padding and shock absorption. Plus the option of cork colored cork tape is rad. For the price I would recommend these over the traditional cork tape.
