Soft & comfortable
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Small
This coat is true to size. I love the soft fabrics used, especially the inner lining in the collar which can be flipped and zipped all the way up. I am a slender athletic woman and its shape is flattering. I don't especially love the choice in green color of interior however and would be concerned that the exterior tissue being so thin would lead to quick snares. The zipper is somewhat off and should have a wider trim so as not to pinch the fabrics Thumbs up for using friendly accesssed goose down. Very warm.
Comfortable and Cozy Jacket
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: Small
This jacket is comfortable and cozy. I'm pretty short, but I like my jackets long and this has good length (maybe a bit too much). I'm tempted to try an XS as I seem to be in between sizes, but I think in the end I will be happier with more room. I have yet to wear it in super cold temps, but I can tell it's going to be pretty warm, especially with a few layers.
Overall, this jacket is really plush and cozy. It would be great for bumming around town or an evening out, not something I would really wear in inclement weather. I dropped it two stars because of the fit and color options. It would be great if it was offered in more staple colors that weren't as shiny, but as far as comfort goes, it does the job!
