Not like the original
Love the originals but these high waisted ones give me a wedgie

Material too sheer in this color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have these shorts in 3 other colors and love them! Unfortunately the Cloud color is too sheer, and you can see the outline of the pockets clearly through the material. It's not a flattering look.

Perfect fit and so comfy!
Perfect fit and so comfy! I'm 5'4", 138, muscular - ordered a size 10. They fit slightly loose at the waist, which I prefer.

Perfect fit
The Hi Rise short is definitely a size smaller than the original Oahu short. The original Oahu was way too big in the waist and hip for me in the smallest size. After reading reviews I decided to try the Hi Rise version in size 0. I was worried the waist would be too high but was pleasantly surprised to find that it sits about 2" below my belly button and the fit is perfect.

Did not work for me
I like the color, but the high rise style does not work for me. Sending back for regular Oahu in the same color.

I love high rise!
I had the original fit and loved the fabric, but didn't like the low waist. Tried the high rise and loved them so much that I bought 5 different colors!!

Perfect high rise shorts!
I love love them. They are so soft, comfortable, and high rise. I usually wear XS or size 0, and the size 0 here fits me perfectly (maybe a tiny bit large still). I am going to purchase more colors.

Love the high rise but runs small

I wear a 6 in the regular Oahu for a comfortably loose fit, but had to size up to an 8 in this high rise version (I have never been an 8 in any bottoms). Love these though - they are light weight, stretch in all the right places, and are different than my usual jean shorts.
