Versatile piece, lovely weight to fabric
I have this in Black L and XL, and change up the size depending on the activity I'm looking to do. It's very easy to zip up, i LOVE the top down/bottom up dual zipper (for those of us with hips that don't lie), and the zippered pockets are a very nice touch. For the price point, this is a steal of a deal. Fabric is nice and light-weight, and it has a little sheen to the fabric, but nothing too "much." For me, the sleeves are too long on me, but most sleeves are and they're easy to push/roll up and they stay. I think it's a little unnecessary to have a huge "carve designs" logo on the end of the sleeve, because with this piece in particular, I'd probably wear it out to dinner as a coverup if it weren't for that. But certainly recommend for those looking to get stylish, comfortable sun protection and not have to slather on the sunscreen every two hours! Thank you, Carve Designs, for being so thoughtful and conscientious with your manufacturing, quality and styles.

Love it!!
Love it! I am going on a cruise for the first time and will need this for the excursions. I have owned one for 8 years now and the only reason I needed a new one is because I have out grown it, LOL! So I can’t wait to use this one - I trust I will have no problems and will look amazing :)

True to Size, good sun protection & features.
I'm 5'9", 140 lbs, chest 35", waist 29", hips 40.5" (my shoulders are slightly wider than most). I ordered medium, and it fit - fitted through the shoulders and top, but not affecting my movement. Stomach isn't super tight across, so it won't cling or pull on me or a wet swimsuit. The neck with the higher zip is nice to offer more sun protection. The side zip pockets are a nice feature - my Samsung Ultra (which is a large phone) will zip in it because the material is stretchy. My aunt has one that she has loved. I look forward to using it, mainly to protect my skin from the sun.

Love this jacket!
Love the 2 way zipper and zippered pockets that are big enough for my rather large cell. Fit was as expected- fitted but not skin tight. I have purchased 3 in different colors and will note that only the Eden color has a somewhat ribbed texture that I love (also have a navy-ish and a striped moss). I wish other colors had similar textured option. Its odd that the texture of the fabric is never mentioned. Would love thumb holes but otherwise this jacket has spoiled me for its fabulous features. It has a surprising dressy look as well. Small was a perfect fit.

Love it so much, I will purchase more....
Love this Sunshirt so much that I bought two. Perfect weight. I purchased a size medium. Sleeves are the right length for my long arms. I intend to wear this a lot this summer. I bought this, swim top, board shorts and a swim skirt. All interchangeable. I love the eco-consciousness of this company.

Love my Lake Sunshirt!
Love my Lake Sunshirt! I used the sizing chart and the fit and quality are excellent. I had purchased the matching swimsuit a few months ago and they look wonderful paired together. Both are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, rafting!

Stop with the logo!
Carve -- I would buy ten of the classic Lake sunshirts in black if only the logo wasn't there. Removing that logo would make the shirt usable in so many settings. It would look fine over a dress, even. That label just screams, "I'm a wet shirt." Otherwise, I love these shirts as sun protection for water activities.
