As tough as it looks.
People will just assume you're tough when you wear the Carhartt Men's Mock-Neck Vest. Made with 12-ounce cotton sandstone duck fabric with triple-stitched seams, it isn't going to wear out any time soon. The sherpa fleece lining provides an extra bit of warmth and gives the interior a plush feel. The drop-tail hem keeps your crack under wraps when you bend over, and two fleece-lined pockets keep your hands warm when you step back to evaluate your work.

- Q & A
Fit is a tad short but otherwise a great vest. Heavy duty and will serve me well for years to come doing those manly chores.
Rugged, soft, and "perfect for guns."
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
- Fit: True to size

My brother is a mad lover of his second amendment rights, and a hard worker with his hands. He needed a vest that was durable for working hard in (but mostly so he could conceal and carry). He said that it's perfect for him, and every time I've seen him, he's wearing it. He loves the tail on the back that he refers to as his "crack protector" and the sherpa fleece, which is incredibly warm, and looks nice too!
The washed look of the gravel was nice. He didn't complain about the fit of it at all, but I noticed that bottom hem of the front side tends to curl up a little bit. Other than that, I would recommend this to the manly man in your fam!
Tough yet Cozy
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: XL
Great vest, seems like its going to last forever. My only complaint is that the large was fairly short, so I went with the XL, which is really wide. That said it fits pretty well over a puffy, and keeps the embers from the campfire from burning holes in your nice stuff.
