    Energy Harness Pack

Nothing wakes you up faster than falling off a rock climb, so get yourself Camp USA's Energy Harness Pack and a couple classes at your local climbing gym. This package includes the basic tools needed for learning how to climb roped routes. Its harness is well-cushioned and fully adjustable to ensure a secure, comfy fit, and there are four gear loops for plenty of quickdraws when you're learning lead. After you learn how to belay, ask your instructor to explain how this belay device can attach to anchors for a safer, easier belay.

    • Climbing package includes harness, belay device, and chalk bag
    • Harness features self-locking buckles and adjustable leg loops
    • Belay device allows anchor belays
    • Locking device boasts a simple, secure screw gate
    • Bonus chalk bag included

    Numb Nuts

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I did not buy the pack, just the harness by itself after my last harness was stolen. This harness is fine for short or unweighted TR climbing, but take a whipper on lead and you'll end up wishing you spent a little more. It sucks to hang in for more than a couple minutes, circulation in legs is lost quickly because there is hardly any padding it feels like it's just webbing cinching down on your leg. I weigh 165 at 6'1", any more and I don't think it'd be bearable! When I'm using this harness I stick to lead routes where I can stand on a ledge while setting up the anchor, and don't push myself on lead, or I'll just toprope. If you are only doing toprope, this is a great, cheap, lightweight harness. It is also extremely adjustable, both me and my 5"1 110lbs girlfriend can wear it!
